So what exactly does the 2in1 mean? That he can't stop an ex forceball by spending another bar of meter?
With the forceball stop input change, it was interfering with using the EX dd3 stuff for Reptile in strings and in general when a forceball was still considered on the stage, namely the EX invis stuff (since the stop's animation was slower than EX invis's, the frame advantage off of strings cancelled were lower). The two changes are meant to keep unintended stops from happening.

The EX invisibility change was to keep you from burning bars by accidentally doing the input too rapidly.

As soon as the the patch finished I went into practice mode to see if they removed the push back after MB hat spin. Then I lol'd.

confirmed goro is dee jay tier with this adjustment.

this screams of "wah i can't do EX MGU dash up U2" except even worse because you literally had to press a single fucking button between the 3rd and 5th punch of the PW. the window was already fucking massive. Like you could drive a goddamn 18 wheeler through that window. And they made it larger?

i believe nrs was on some of that dank shit when they made this change.

B2~UpRockets doesn't jail into S1, so none of the follow ups are safe now after it on block. EX Up Rockets has a lot more pushback killing most of the mixups. Ending strings with gun is no longer safe. Thanks NRS. Now I'll be on the receiving end of these.

I'm only thankful that SG still exist, for now. I think I'm gonna need a full two days of recovery before I can post in the forum competently again.

The block advantages on regular and EX up rockets were most likely altered to prevent block infinite combos in the corner against large characters like Goro and Ferra/Torr.
 
It's like a religion. Any character I follow gets fucking nerfed.

No more guaranteed follow ups for UpRocket or EX Rocket on block. Now you can get blown up for something like B2~UpRocket or F12~EX Rockets has a smaller window to jail. Still searching for any other bs. -.-

Yea I know, but S1 after EX Uprockets is bush league compared to what she lost. The real mixups were from getting a B2 guaranteed after EX Rockets and a guaranteed S1 after regular rockets if they didn't block. With the EX you got good chip damage for connecting the full chain and could go into 50/50 RC mixups or catch them with a S1 full combo if they pushed buttons. This would be after they were forced to block B2~UpR from a F12 EX UpR/B2~EX UpR/ etc. Endless possibilities once you forced them to respect the frames. All gone.

Also no more regular UpR pressure without risk of a full blow up is ass. Her pathetically short range was rewarded for actually getting inside and now everything is full combo punishable on a read except EX UpR~S1 lol. You can't even S1 after regular rocket anymore without risk of blow up, let alone dare attempt any sort of mixup or pressure without getting poked out, armored, backdashed, or full combo'd. I'm probably moving to Shotgun after this. Now FA is just some mid tier at best variation like every other character that gets nerfed.

You're probably right about the hitbox thing. I'm sure it was to help out the large characters after the Torr video surfaced. It's just that this excessive nerf was the worst way to go about it. They could have left the EX alone since it spends a bar and altered the regular Rocket. Or better yet, adjust the boxes on Torr and Goro so they don't get block trapped. But no, these lazy fucks would rather just take the easy route and nerf Jacqui for some shit that only effected a couple of characters and wasn't even broken utility wise in the first place.

Beyond sick of all these nerfs any time a patch comes out. Shouldn't be too much to ask to just play one version of the game for a while.

My main training partner uses Quan Chi. I'm this close to having him teach me the character and moving on to him. But then I think of the victims.

-Kano
-Kung Jin (4 days after I picked him up)
-FF Liu (days after I picked him up)
-Pyro Tanya (switched main's days after DLC launch, but then Pyro was obliterated because of Kobu)
-Kano again (went back to Kano and switched variations, just for that variation to get nerfed 9/1/15)
-FA Jacqui (Went full main with FA Jacqui after Kano nerf, then this)


No point to pick up QC when my nerf aura will just get him mid tier anyway and he'll be added to the list. I'm about to just main Jason and Kenshi. Can't nerf them right? Right??? -.-

So overall did he get buffed or nerfed? Or did he stay relatively neutral?

Can someone explain to me getting rid of Reptiles 2in1 with floating ball? Like what does it mean?

Cause I take it as an enhanced acid ball can no longer be stopped but I think we'd heAR more if that's what it was.

Lastly D'vorahs venomous change isn't noticeable to most right? Cause if they weakened it I am much disappoint.

you could do it with the last patch bruh. that was the original change.

this was just "uh... apparently we made the window too small when it was already large as fuck". of all the things to randomly change with Goro this is the most random.
