I'm just excited that it connects to the main games. Hopefully there is something special about GO pokemon that makes it more advantageous to catch them with the app. Like useful moves it can't normally learn.

The app would make me go outside again, or sit at home and wait for the pokemon to come to me.
Both alternatives have their down sides.

Apparently there are wild starter pokemon like charizard and junk.
Also inb4 reports of people bullying other people by constantly group-ganking their pokemon.

It would be tight if some pokemon could only be found in certain places.

Like Alakazam can only be found in China, any time you're close to the ocean you can find unique Water pokemon. Just a thought.

I'm thinking it may be exactly like this. They are utilizing real region locations.
