NRS Officially Cancels MKX for 360/PS3

Ultimately, I think this is a good thing.


Frees up more resources to devote to the PS4, Xbone, and PC versions of the game. Last gen would have been a nightmare.

This sucks. I was really hoping for a Vita port down the line too. If they canned this, I can be sure there won't be a Vita version. It's a shame because it's not due to the 360 and PS3 being "Too weak" to run the game.

It's probably because Warner Bros. has chosen to outsource development recently, and they are putting out "glorious" ports. Please see Arkham Knight.

Or preorder from Amazon for nothing down. If keeping track of a preorder is too much for you, well I honestly don't know what to say. I have more important things in my life to deal with, so a preorder doesn't come anywhere close to the level of heartache.

It's nice that you're into inconveniencing yourself for nothing. That doesn't make it a good business practice.

Don't kid yourself... the netcode would have sucked ass on last gen consoles too.

Translation - Get with the times and join 8th gen already.

It is because they originally announced that it WOULD be on last gen consoles. If they had only ever said it would be on next gen only no one would complain because they would not have any expectations otherwise. Luckily for me I saw the handwriting on the wall after the original release date delay for the last gen versions and I bit the bullet and bought a ps4. Glad I did!

Well i thought this would happen. Well maybe in a year or two i'll get a PS4.

I could buy one now but im done with this industry of buying overpriced incomplete games for $60-$40. There's a ton a games on my PS3 i still need to play so i'll be good.

I can still play MKX at my brothers and friends houses though so its not all bad.

Oh ya, it was real inconvenient when mkx appeared on my doorstep the day it was released, for the same price as having to drive down to the mall to get it, something that takes 45 minutes to do. And it will suck when my pipboy fo4 copy does the same, even though i haven't paid for it yet. i bet you hate direct deposit and would rather wait for the check to clear, or pay a premium to cash it today.
