See, you wouldn't hear about people complaining that a Playstation 2 game isn't getting a port on the Playstation 1 in 2005, so why should it be any different now? It's basically the same time difference.

What does any of this have to do with preordering? The game being canceled means everyone that did is getting their money back.

Well, this news at the very least 100% vindicates my choice to get a PS4 for this game.

It kind of sucks for folks still using last-gen consoles, of course, but it's hard to imagine a PS3/360 version that wouldn't have taken some quite massive hits in quality (especially graphics-wise).

I didn't pre-order for the last gen versions since I have it for ps4. but I think that if sizeable amount did they should be able to go online to get a free 10 dollars off the game on a next gen platform. or even if a sizeable amount didn't it would motivate them to go buy the game. plus now they have all sorts of new bundles. I think there is a ps4 arkham knight bundle even. WB wins. oh and we want free stages too to compensate. I remember this happening for me way back in the day with all the UMK3 delays for sega saturn and waiting for Mortal kombat trilogy for sega saturn. it finally got released but I eventually just bought a playstation and got it on there. which was prolly the best move in retrospect.

Well once NRS rep said such I believed it over any other sites since I follow them. A shame but I believe this was the right choice, just think of all the issues they would have had being last gen etc. It's fine NRS, it's not easy to do this stuff porting etc and I appreciate the free content you give us.

I think at this point most people who want this game bad enough will have gotten a One, PS4 or PC version anyway. I look forward to the stream.

Bravo HVS. Their shitty PC port forced me to buy a PS4 and now this. Sure, the PC port is somewhat fixed now (still not how it should be), but it was too little too late. The online is totally dead now. These "next-gen" consoles are complete garbage and MKX is still the only game I have for it. At least the PS3 had free online.
