I have Updated the OP with a video showing that you can Option Select a back dash!:

And that when Tanya delays her Rekkas, even when they Jail, the EX Rekka 3 has a gap in it! @AK L0rdoftheFLY @Zoidberg747

What do you guys think?
in my video I go over this.

The gap before the 3rd hit changes depending on how much delay the Tanya players want. It isn't always that large. This means the back dash timing will not be the same...also if I stop after the second hit, and you back dash, can i punish you with f2?

As for the 3rd hit being armorable when mb, this is a myth. You actually do have a slight delay. I also explain this in my video.

Here is the rule about the mb 3rd rekka:
If there is any delay whatsoever in between either hit, the last hit is armorable when mb. If you do it as tight as possible, there is no gap. Try it yourself mashing df2 df1 df2mb as fast as humanly possible. You will see that there is no gap.

^This, there's still guessing and there always will be. These gaps were already known to people who weren't lazy and actually labbed. Even just looking at it is common sense that there are gaps and is not hard to punish.

Punishing it in a tournament setting is different, you have to make the read whether im doing 1, 2, or 3 rekkas, whether im going to delay or meter burn them. Sure it's definitely going to be new to some people, but Tanya players have been playing against this for a while now.

I know there is no gap when done as fast as possible but in that case she's really unsafe so you can just punish her. If she delays them but still makes them Jail in an attempt to make herself safer then you can armour. That's what I'm trying to say lol

no you don't understand...i'm talking about the 3rd hit being meter burned. Your saying that there is a gap between the two hits of the launcher. I'm saying that there is no gap when it isn't delayed and it is -2.

This is getting messy lol. I'm trying to agree with you, I wrote that she was really unsafe then checked the frame data and tried to delete it but the draft didn't save so when I came back to this thread to reply, my unedited message was there too.

I promise you I understand exactly what you're saying haha :p

ALL I HAVE IS THE GREEN.
I can't really look for the information so can you tell me:

What move is in question
What data needs changing
The correct values

I'll get everything updated as soon as you let me know. Cheers
Tanya - Kobu Jutsu
1. Tonfa Swipe, Tonfa Slash, Tonfa Push (DF2, DF1, DF2 in sequence)
2. Block advantage
3. -7, -11, -23

Also, Rising Tonfa (the last DF2 when ex'd is -2)
Also, When the first DF2 is ex'd, it's called tonfa strike and it changes the frame data of all three to -8, -4, -23.

so this doesnt hurt tanya's game plan much does it? this sounds like its going to be hard to take in and keep track of as im trying to learn her now :(.

The 2nd and 3rd hits can be slightly delayed so they still leave no gaps, but Tanya will be at -12 and large distance at the end, so it's safe against most characters of the cast.
Maximum delay of 2nd hit with no gap between it and 3rd leaves Tanya at 0.
