18 entrants gathered at the hollow grounds of southern virginia's best this week with a few select guys gaining speed in the points. Will the gap narrow or further divide? Gimpy (TOTFC Wiinner, top 8 TCW), Zappa (Multiple winner at TMKW), Mr Aquaman (TOTFC Winners, multiple TMKW wins) were sitting comfortable at the top 3 with a lot of money on the line at the end of the season. Right away this weekly was one for the books. Something was different in the air when brackets went live. Thunder and lightning lit the beaches skies as the gods played their sick and twisted games as we honored them with the blood of those sent to losers. Fresh of his brutal ass beating at top of the food chain not 5 days hence, Mr Aquaman AKA Magnum Pillsbury PI sacrifices a thousand sheep so the merciful Poseidon would guide his paddle to the crouching of his opponents. It must have worked, because, well to save you me talking about myself, heres results! (check out Post #2 for vids!)

Yams and I sharing 7th place, which pretty much means my shit-tier Takeda is as capable as his Quan now.

I'll be handing out nuggets of advice and coaching him next week.
<3 Yams, it's not so bad down here, I promise.

Srsly tho, that Yams/Cruz match may be the greatest TGS vid since Steel/Brady, I can't stop watching it.

Also Kotal Heads, I thought this was great gameplay, almost no b122 was used in the harming of others

f3, 4 is paying off so well in the corner, its a mind game to armor or not, and I never even used air throw to bait either, which I need to do more, the cancel adv is great and OH is gapless

Hope it helps in anyway possible, if not just to see something different, I know you guys are all good

Corrected the placings of Quiet Storm and Sloth. When you have a tie like there is in 7th place, they take up 3 spots 7, 8 and 9 so the next number you would use is 10 for the person that follows.

Fun fact. B122 does not have a gap in the corner against male characters (still does against females). I have been using F34 more but delay wakeup becomes an issue. It's an option but his offense is still lackluster when compared to most everyone else.

Nice gameplay @Mr Aquaman , I'm learning a lot watching your videos, and incorporating it into my gameplay. It's great to see pro players using kotal, seems like you're the only one other than @Madzin , so don't give up on kotal pls :D

Were none of your matches streamed? You're like the only Takeda I ever seen placing in anything anymore. You're like the last of the mohicans or something.. :(

Yeah, two of my matches were streamed this week. Just know I have a curse where I can never seem to pull a win on stream during these weeklies.

Good stuff, @Mr Aquaman. Nice blocks, D2 anti-airs, and footsies using the cancelled Sword Shake, as well as knowing Cassie's gaps.

Speaking of gaps, which one are you referring to in B122, @Pnut? If it's B122 cancelled into EN Sword Throw or EN Sun Stone, it can still be interrupted by male characters in the corner (tested against Reptile's dash). As for the string itself, against both Reptile and Cassie, neither interrupted it. 212 has an inconsistent gap between the 1 and the 2. Perhaps that's what you're referring to?

Theres a gap in between 2,2 in b1,2,2. Very hard to interrupt on command, and male characters crouch while blocking and it opens up for them. Females just do it. But I would say it doesn't matter seeing as how a fast enough reversal armor option beats anything kotal attempts after. But b1 alone is one of his best offensive weapons, the mind games for only being -3 open up a lot of opponents, with throw, another b1, or even a d1 check. (Esspecially on someone like quan who can't get out without risking being checked)

Mid string it is to bait armor, or after 114 I am believed to be +4 rather than +1. After a d4 its something that me me specific, if d4 hits, it is easy to keep pressure because you are plus, and on block its to make the opponent think a paddle is coming, as air throw and paddles have similar start up, Therefore I hope I don't get counter poked and can continue pressure.
