Exactly. Two incredibly popular characters would almost destroy any other possible dlc sale. No amounts of Baraka's or Fujin's could come close to matching the sales Noob/Smoke would do. And at the end of the day, money is the ultimate goal.

Two solo variations and a dual variation is almost too easy to call. I want to believe that they are geniuses and this was the plan all along. I want to believe. I want to...

I want Noob seperate. There will be no noob/smoke dlc because this is an alternate timeline where Smoke doesnt become a robot. Nobody knows where Noob is. Hopefully we can get both seperately....If not just Noob

It would be truly foolish not to put Fujin and Havik in the game from a business standpoint. Those two alone would make NRS ALL OF THE MONEY.

My rebuttal to this would be that if Kombat Pack 2 IS a thing, then NRS would've known who they wanted in for a very long time, and they could've recorded all of this dialogue at the same time as the rest.

No way - I like Fujin and Havik but they are not major money spinners. One of them may make it - but not both. If all they care about is making money, it would be Noob, Smoke, a robot and someone else (likely a new female) - I couldn't care less about any of these characters, but it seems obvious that these are WAY bigger money spinners as they are iconic and some of the most popular characters in the series.

Weren't the kombat pack 1 intros in the game files before the characters were released?

If they did have a new character AND it had to go with the family vibe of MKX, I'd like to see Kenshi's dead wife. Particularly if her character model was inspired by something like Hisako from Killer Instinct... that would be awesome.

Are you saying in reference to Kombat Pack 1? As in those characters were somewhat dictated by player polls? Because I feel like those 4 would've been decided long before the games release.

Anyway it's all just speculation at this point. I just can't imagine they'd announce a Kombat Pack 2 soon with results based on recent polls. I would imagine it'd take a long time to develop the characters, and that they'd want to be releasing characters within about a month of a kombat pack announcement.

I don't disagree with your statement, but I think they'll try to get the few non-shitters from the MK4 through Deception era a reboot while simultaneously pulling from the MKX comic. I think Noob AND Smoke might be a bit of a stretch but I'd love to see the return of their tag-team from Deception, as well as the few other non-shitters from that era (Havik, Fujin, and maybe Frost).

Shang, Noob, Rain, and Cyrax for me please.

It has to do with the Variation possibilities and the fact they have models in the game.

Man just think of the variations Shang Tsung can bring.

Shang Tsung:

UNIVERSAL: Skull, Up Skull, Ground Skull, Mysterious Magic( a low-hitting slide which can be MB'd to do an overhead juggle, can do this on block), and Soul Steal(Transforms Shang into the opponent, Grants enhanced damage on hit, and enhanced Soul Steal has a point of armor, and transformation lasts longer.)

MASTER OF STYLES: Gains various animal stances, Snake, Crane, Mantis, and Tiger. Each has different benefits such a armor, low profiling, counters, etc. Like Lei WuLong except Shang Tsung stays in the stance when he blocks. Loses ground Skull, Up Skull, and Soul Steal.

SOUL-TAKER: Enhances Soul Steal. Soul Steal grants health on hit(4%), enhanced version stuns opponent for combo and grants more health on hit(7%). Normal throw grants 3% health on hit.

SOULFIRE: Enhances Skull attacks, doing slightly more damage and hitting for two hits. Gains Hot Escape(Teleport, works like Freddy's from MK9)

The general idea of Master of Styles is that it is a "Thinking Man's" variation. Each stance has their own set of moves and unique properties that can change Shang from a defensive character to an offensive character and vise versa. He could also cancel stance strings into another stance and some could combo together.

Everyone here has bad opinions. Sindel, Baraka, Shang, Havik, Fujin, Rain, and Reiko all gobble boners. The correct list is:
-Sektor or Cyrax (Hopefully Cyrax. He's black, he's more alive than Sektor, and RedRaptor would just drop Takeda if Sektor made it. One of these is guaranteed.)
-Noob or Smoke (I don't care which. One of these is guaranteed.)
-Mavado (He's cool... whatever.)
-A Hot Young Female (I need a little girl character, man. She doesn't have to be underage, just close enough for me to pretend. Kenshi's wife, Suchin, and Sareena are also okay.)
