A recent example we saw Kitana, as with the patch, it is easy to pump the fighter. In my opinion you can also be done with two fighters:
1. Kano
2. Johnny cage
Kano needs OVERHEAD. He has a complete lack of diversity. His cutthroat overhead have very small hitbox. For other variations, I generally keep quiet, they generally bring his game on NO
Johnny need some troubles with hitbox. Also his 113!!! Omg -23 on block -2 on hit. Only the lower strike.
Discus??

Kano would be fantastic if they just fixed his freaking 112 string whiffing on crouched BLOCKING opponents (Cassie Cage for one) and adjusted the priority on upball. These aren't even buffs. They're fair fixes. To hell with the overhead. I think Cutthroat should have something unique, the overhead staying in one variation.

Kano NEEDS to be able to do his first fatality anytime during the match when he connects a back 1. I think it'll make him top tier.

Kano needs no overheads, Cutthroat should stay as his rushdown variation and the pathetic B1 should at least have a tiny range boost, as of right now it only hits if your arm is inside the other character. Cybernetic should have his B1/B2 3 2+4 be 0 on block as well as maybe a boost to his projectile damage. Commando needs alot of things, but the main stuff should be actual tick throws.

I don't think Johnny needs any buffs besides a couple of hitbox fixes which every character needs. He's probably the in the top 5 most underrated characters in this game.

You sir, are a sensible gentleman and I whole-heartedly agree with this assessment. I wouldn't mind Cybernetic having more frame advantage on his restand laser grapple as well (Considering he doesn't have an OH and it's not a vortex 50/50.) One of the best suggestions I've seen thrown for Kano would be to allow regular Kano Ball to be canceled in order to extend combos for Commando. It would also do wonders for Cutthroat and Cybernetic, instead of wasting a bar to do it. Just wishful thinking though. I'm on board that Kano doesn't need an overhead. That's not how Commando and Cyber are supposed to be played, being the odd fighter of MKX.

EX Ovi should launch
113 on hit with cage makes them stagger back to the very tip of your f2 range and you can hit f3 or just back off. Its way better to confirm into nutpunch or a run cancel but I actually like the position it leaves when you hit just the 113.

Allowing for normal ball to be canceled is actually not that bad of a suggestion, especially considering how much it scales the combo afterwards. But it's never going to happen unfortunately, even though it would make sense for a character with no mixups(Cybernetic) and a grappler(Commando) to do more damage. I wouldn't give it to Cutthroat though, he's a great character whose only problem is his negative ranged B1.

Takeda Fix predictions:
Fix the glitch in which Takeda's f12 2+4 is interuptable and make it uninteruptable
Shirai ryu bf2 should have the same startup as lasher's bf2
Increase the cancel advantage on block with b21, b2, and f12 2+4 (canceled after the 2) on the Shirai Ryu teleport cancels so that Takeda is a proper mindgame/conditioner character. The new cancels should not be plus but should be no more unsafe than -5.
F12 2+4 and f1 2+4 should hit opponents from behind like how it looks like when you try to hit from behind.
Decrease the startup on bf4 slightly and increase the cancel advantage on hit slightly on many strings so that you can do a string into bf4 and it will combo.
Increase the hitbox slightly on his standing teleport in shirai ryu.
Improve the anti air properties on b21 slightly so it won't whiff on the first couple frames of jumping.
Increase the hitbox on b11 and improve the anti air properties of the string.
212 should be safer. Atleast -9
Diagonal f1 in lasher should be easier to execute and not result in a df1 instead.
Df1 should be an overhead in lasher.
Increase the hit advantage on df1 so that it is not full combo punishable on hit. (Lasher)
Increase the hit advantage on Exdb2(Lasher) and air Exdb1(Shirai Ryu) for more combo potential.
F214 should be 2in1 cancellable
Improve the armor consistency of Exbf2(shirai ryu) so that it has armor everytime and not 70% of the time.

Cages real weakness is anti air.

Kano in cutthroat doesnt have a weakness, yet people still cry.
Most of the cast has bad anti-air but its exaggerated by some characters huge air normals range/priority/hitbox and also some characters can just mix you up off the JIP advantage so if you dont get an anti-air out then you are in the blender and could lose from that JIP. Cage has at least got EX nut for some of the casts jumping crap, though long term i dont think buffing cage would be my choice over just balancing air-to-ground attacks on a bunch of characters.

dont think you can fix the whiffing issue man but i totally agree with you man
