General/Other - Jason Voorhees The Jason Player Thread

Hey guys, I know this thread has been dead for about a month now, and in that month boy have I been playing a lot of Jason. I agree with most that he is a bottom 3 character, that's not saying he's terrible (JK he sucks) but definitely clear advantages that the tiers have over him. But anyways I digress. So, I've noticed there's really no top players using him in tourney, those that attempt end up getting bodied. What I would like to compile is a list of players who still play Jason right now--xbox, ps4, whatever your flavor--and let's all play together. There's tons we can help each other with, and when those buffs (never) come we will be a force to be reckoned with. Provide your Name, UserID, Variation of choice, and times you are usually on. What's up man. I also play Jason...a lot! I'm pretty new to Mk as I have really only played SF and guilty gear. But I did play injustice so I'm not completely out of touch. Anywho I'm on xbl-bobbum man616 variations-slasher and unstoppable im usually on between 7pm and 1am off and on depending on work and I'm on in the mornings when i wake up in training mode 9am-11am, this is all EST.

yes bottom 3. I can't think of 4 characters that he is clearly better than. again bottom 3 doesn't mean unplayable--remember SOMEBODY has to be at the bottom and IMO Jason is clearly in that bottom 3. got any tourney matches to link me to? orr...

Well there's a new business about to set up shop around the way ;) tell him to add me! I tend to forget/am always at work.

No, my schedule usually doesn't allow me to travel and enter tournaments, but based on my personal experiences I do pretty well with him. That's all I was saying lol

Forever King Jr plays Relentless Jason in tournaments and has definitely had success with him (got top 9 with him two majors ago)

I personally think he's slightly better than bottom 3, but even if he isn't, bottom 3 in this game isn't necessarily the end of the world.

I don't play much online anymore, primarily due to the netcode being absolute caca. But, PSN: keysersoze11, Variation: Relentless/Slasher (about 50/50)

Could you please refer me to the comment where I said he wasn't bottom 3 or attempted to argue his tier? I said " Bottom 3? Really? " as in I was surprised because I seem to do well with him. There is no need to be a prick about it lol

Apart from me of course, and if you want me to prove it then just you go ahead and book my flights, hotel, food, general travel etc to YOMI headquarters or the next major from Scotland ;)
