Congratz to everyone & especially to SonicFox for winning it.

Was a great tournament with lots of hype stuff going on. Also glad that most europeans made it far into the tournament.

Sad that Honeybee didnt win it all though. I luv seeing his Dvorah play... soooo good.
Also an extra thanks to Milky for the extra hype... man you were awesome, thanks for the show.

I'm so glad Ketchup got to top 8. Some of his losses upset me the most but I really hope we haven't seen the last of him or his brother. I love watching them play. Bring the Sorccerer Quan Chi hype!

Grats to everyone, but that top 8 felt way rushed and just went by too quick imho. I greatly enjoyed top 32 much more and was probably the most enjoyable stream experience for me in NRS games to date.

Imo you just lacked practice with buzzsaw. He was a good back up plan, but not practiced enough.

While i had loved to see Honeybee or Foxy win it... Sonic won it not EB. Assuming anything else is pathetic.

Is this the first time a character swap in Grand Finals has paid off in a NRS tourney? Ran it BACK with Erron Black to reset the bracket and take the title.

Also props to you Sonicfox on your performance today. Last night, you had to face Honeybee's viciously good D'vorah right in the middle of your Skullgirls tournament as you went into Grand Finals. You had to run in the middle of that tourney to take him on and that is some SERIOUS mental gymnastics to perform to try and switch gears from Skullgirls to the mindset and tactics of MKX. I think by the time you had adjusted it was too late last night and it hurt to see you go out that way. You looked pretty flustered up there at that point.

Still, you recovered hard and took out your gatekeeper Honeybee in Losers Finals to make it and then won!

I think there will definitely be a female, and while the Alien is theoretically female I doubt that counts haha

It makes me nervous because I want my queen, obvs, and if they don't do all three of the Rain/Baraka/Sindel NPCs I feel like they won't do any of them.

I wouldn't be shocked if they did Fujin/Li Mei or Sareena/Alien/[Guest]. I'd be surprised if Freddy repeated, even though it would make sense.

Top 8 was hype all around. I think the players need to be more patient but MKx doesn't really lend itself to that. I wonder if foxy would've won had he switched back to ttempest.

Also props to Sonicfox for bringing us the moment when his opponent was desperate, they had magic pixel and he just threw caltrops and teabagged like mad in them early in Top8....prophetic because later that same scenario and toss of caltrops won him the tourney.

But if you went Tempest after the bracket reset, you would have in theory had the upper hand in the counter-picking fest if you win match 1. Regardless, there's no point in dwelling over that. Congrats on an amazing showing.
