Okay, so I already see that there's a bunch of people talking about Hit Box on here, and that's great! Super excited for that. I was looking for the Hit Box thread, but couldn't find it, so either it's buried or deleted, apologies for making this one if someone else finds the other one.

Now none of you know who the hell I am and I don't expect you to, but allow me to introduce myself. I am the Community Manager among other things for Hit Box, LLC. We've had a big presence in the NRS community that we're super proud of, but not much of a presence here on the forums outside of our team players Tyrant and Godspeed. I'm gonna try to keep up with this thread as much as I can and help out as much as I can. Now, I'm no MK player, so when it comes to execution, matchups, whatever, I'm the wrong guy to ask. Tyrant and Godspeed I'm sure will be happy to help out there though! Anything related to Hit Box (or KoF!) I can gladly help out with. That being said, I'm sure you've all read the thread title and are wondering why I won't shut the hell up and say the thing yet, so here it is.

We are proud to finally announce that we are making Xbox One Hit Boxes! We've been trying to make this a reality for a long time and we've finally got something to show for it. We hope to have inventory in and ready to ship by August and we're doing everything we can to meet that timeframe.

So with that done, thanks to all of our supporters and let's krack some skulls!

Awesome news! I literally checked your site I think two days ago hoping for news on a next-gen Hitbox.

Inevitable question though: Will there be a multi-console release to allow for X1 and PS4 use?

I have the PS3/PC one and I use the Titan One converter to play on XB1.

I actually have the Cronus Max converter but it's banned at tourneys usually. Is this one allowed or is it banned as well?

From my understanding it's not banned unless stated otherwise, and you have to update the converter with "tournament" mode which negates all mods done to the controller. XB1 I have no problems, but I think it randomly disconnects on PS4. I heard that it used to hit the start button on you, but they updated it to where it no longer does that.

I would use one if the directions were like WSAD use on the keyboard and not my thumb to jump... I hate that.

I played on keyboard like that for a good number of years before Hit Box came out and it only took me 15 minutes to get used to it and change my mind. Of course not everyone is the same and it wouldn't be the case for most people, but we've tested a bunch of different layouts and configurations for the buttons and from our testing, the one we use is objectively the best.

Nah it's cool, I just usually use a stick for SF but I might switch it up this time around. If you have some in stock for PS4 maybe a month before SFV I will get one. It's just I was hoping for one know to play MKX and I know I can use a PS3 one but it would be a lot of money to spend if I want a ps4 one later on. I live in AUS and by the time I pay for postage to my area and convert dollars it would be like $300 and then if the PS4 Hitbox cost about the same as Xone it would be about $350. When instead I could get a madcatz stick and I'm pretty sure some of those work for both PS3 and PS4, but are never in stock...

I understand it's more complicated but this stuff sure has a "hard to get" attitude.

I get that... however, when playing on a keyboard I would NEVER set my spacebar to be jump, so why would I want to adjust to it on a hitbox? Not for me I guess.

I should just make my own lol

Trust me, we would like to be as easy to get as possible, but for a company as small as ours we can only do so much.

Well if you were to ask us, we'd say because it's better. You're free to do whatever you want of course, but even if you don't buy from us I'd still suggest you give the layout a try since it's a lot less awkward than WASD. Who knows, it might just clean up some execution errors you might be having.

Well if you were to ask us, we'd say because it's better. I've tried it and didn't like it. There are a few Utah players who use them. Thanks anyways ^_^

Cool. At least I know not to buy.

Would love to support Hitbox Arcade but it makes 0 sense to drop 200 dollars on a next gen hitbox that can't run both consoles. I feel bad for people who play , say KI and MKX, and want to use a hitbox. You would have to buy two seperate hitboxes and still own a dualshock 4 and hope your games support last gen sticks on PS4.
