Pretty much this. It's rare you see a character as underrated as Jax.

It's this simple. If Jax had easier execution he would be used more, and if he was used more you'd all cry about him more than any character not named Tanya.

It's not that his execution is hard which it really isn't with practice...it's that his combos are absolutely tedious as hell against most characters and who wants to do all the research of which characters should I do the easy combo on and which other characters can I get the practical damage that's advertised in the first place?

I could see a potential damage nerf but a fix on hitboxes or a buff in another area. I don't think he has raised enough noise to be addressed and if he does I'm going to firebomb TYM. He is super good but nothing overpowered.

Lol what should they nerf? hes energywave that can be HEARED and seen miles away to poke or uppercut him out? his high execution 36-38% midscreen combos that wont work on females? Sure the 50% corner combos are insane but losing 4-5% wouldn't change much. And as Jupiter said jax has many holes in his strings even the most in the whole cast.

I think Jax is where most pressure characters should aside from maybe tad high corner damage, and a good projectile that the other zoners actually should have. I wouldn't nerf him at all if any minor.

Jax was fine but they just keep nerfing the top tiers and jax is staying the same , he's top 5 now in my opinion.

I think he'd be fair but hes nowhere near the top of the list of nerf/buffs if he got touched and the other characters didn't that would be entirely unfair.

With high execution liu kang flame fists has around 60% bnb's in the corner (METERLESS)
Tanya has at least a few 7-3 matchups.

Certain characters i think will get marginal buffs as well. I see F/T getting one, and maybe JC, he got a nerf which was unnecessary and ruined a variation, and his other variations have horrendous matchups vs certain characters.

Mid 40s meterless? No.

Jax is an extremely strong and well designed character. He isn't top tier because he gets invincible teleports into braindead nonsense. If he gets nerfed I will be extremely disappointed.
