Absolutely nothing. This move is still useless.

It is slower than her other armour move, bf4, is incredibly unsafe at -21, still does less damage than ex bf4 does not grant a combo on hit (unlike regular bf2) and cannot reliably be combo'd into as an ender (unlike bf4).

In all honesty it would've been less of a kick in the teeth if they hadn't even given her this "buff".

It's like looking at a starving child and saying, "we understand you're hungry, here have this empty dinner plate".

Other than for a Brutality, I personally never use that move ever. And still will not, other than for a brutality. I'm sad and confused, lol. I love Jacqui, she's an awesome character. She has some super strong points, but she has some weak points. Damage is NOT one of them at all.

I much would of rather seen slight buffs to her weaker points. This buff did not address any of them or help her to become slightly better in anyway unfortunately.

Hoping to see maybe SOME of the things I suggested looked into...

Still gonna rock this character throughout MKX though. Most people give up on T-Rex, no love for dinosaurs.

It shouldn't have been listed under buff. It should have been listed "insult". I almost believe that someone sat there and said, "hey have you seen the recent tier list? Jacqui is Bottom 3. Let's troll them with this useless "buff" on a useless move so it can stay useless. That way, they can get moreeee upset. Yea! This should be funny".

Does anyone know why Jax has one safe dash and one he can combo off of, but Jacqui doesn't have either even though he is a far superior character??? No, didn't think so.

This is absurd. From super slow normals, to situational at best trash at worst specials, T-Rex limbs, etc etc etc, it's a travesty that she didn't get real buffs. But why this? Why this joke? Is it to falsely appear as if they "buffed" Jacqui so they won't have to do actual work buffing her. NRS, you guys could have kept this "buff" and gave us an actual one. I'm one patch away from full blown conspiracy tin foil hat, because there isn't a single reason in any scenario to make that ridiculous change unless to purposely be fraudulent.

Insulting. Only word to describe it. Insulting.

Jacqui doesn't have the heart of a farmer yet, we should be happy that she still manages to be fun and badass.

On a serious note, I don't even understand why they'd design a character to be so stubby, it isn't even a case of "t-rex" arms, they for some reason designed her in a way in which her most useful tools neither extend or advance like most of the cast's.

A shame when you knock your opponent out of your range with a fucking stray jab and get yourself poked back into the danger zone.

I envy you FA people, you at least have more options than "rush like a motherfucker" and "pray".

Prior to the 6-15 patch I heard that the patch was called the Stanky Leg patch. Knowing where this term came from, i got really excited for possible improvements to Jaqui's weak points.

The patch came, I opened the tab on my computer, saw Jacqui's name in the list. And then read... 4u4 Stanky Leg has been added to the command list. I was like...


Oh.


I've known of that move way before the 6-15 patch. Never really use it because the command is obnoxious [The move is a good normal] Feel it hinders the use of what is actually a nice normal with a special's command. Also my least favorite command in the entire game, for my favorite character.

Then, I open up today's patch notes tab. Once again I see Jacqui's name [but only once] and go on to read that a move that I've trained myself NEVER to use unless to troll someone with a Brutality has got a damage increase. Damage is Jacqui's strong point, not a weak point.

I was literally confused, and had to read it three times over to make sure I was reading it right because it didn't make any sense as far as, it could of been something else to actually improve the character.

Hopefully some can be looked into. They are really reasonable, and don't think the frame change ones would be OP in the slightest.

It's like NRS is dick slapping the Jacqui, Goro, and F/T communities right now.
You guys want buffs to compete with the top tier. The top tier are too strong and the answer isnt to make Jaqui, F/T, Goro, etc too strong as well so they can fight the top. You do that and then you'll have Jacqui, F/T, and Goro beating the crap out of the mid tiers which doesnt solve anything.

Normalize the top tiers and everything will be fine. Its not that you guys need buffs, the common pick top tiers need normalizing.

Well, probably you're right. But there are obviously some things about Jacqui that don't make sense. Like that last hit of f121 only coming out on hit - why use the string if f12 is easily hitconfirmable? Or exbf2 being absolutely useless. Jacqui has a lot of tools to work with but she just feels ... incomplete. To the point that whatever it is that you like to do in fighting games there's a character that does it better than her.
On topic, I don't think she needs an armored starter in exbf2, her damage is too high.

I attempted to pick her Jacqui the other day, and this was the first thing I noticed. A large portion of the cast has absolutely ridiculous advancing normals. Like, footsies is played at 2-3 character lengths away, because everyone has 15 frame rapidly advancing normals to close space with. Jacqui? Nada.

We don't necessarily want it to launch for combo, we want it to be useable in some way. If it was safe, that's suffice.

Also even funnier is that f121 hits overhead and has block advantage listed, but again only comes out on hit. Seems like an obvious glitch.
