I think we have a lot of panic and overreaction going on in this thread.

It's understandable. We all want our characters to compete. That's fine.

However, i still do not buy that Paulo or NRS patches the game based on TYM.

Wasn't it said that NRS reps were at CEO, including Boon?

Is it possible that they watched top 8 and drew their own conclusions?

I think the game will be fine. Relax.
They certainly do patch the game based on the community, which TYM is a big part of, at least to some extent. Do you really think all of these patches are just a coincidence? Would Kenshi and Kitana have gotten all these buffs without the community saying they desperately needed them? Would Tanya have gotten nerfed so quickly after the last patch so that we have time to learn the new changes before EVO if not for the Tanya scare?

It's not just a coincidence that whichever character is cried about the most on TYM, either saying they need buffs or saying they need nerfs, is then buffed/nerfed. I don't know why some of you think that it's impossible for the community to impact NRS's decisions.

To be clear, I'm not saying they see a thread saying "Give Kitana a 1f D2", and then do it. But they take our feedback into consideration, to deny we have any impact is naive imo.

I find it ridiculous NRS gave her these ideas only to remove them due to whining, bitching and complaining players who can't find ways around it.

If I fail to react to the teleport, and I end up blocking a NjP, or a Ji2, I get free pressure on her because she is negative when she lands. So her reward for successfully jumping in on you is that you get to pressure her. Pretty much the exact opposite of how jump-ins work in every fighting game ever made :)
Except her actual, normal jump-ins still works like everyone else's. It's just jump-ins off of a tele that don't.

kung laos standing 1 is 8 frames, new ex orb hat is +12.
unless they added a fuckton of pushback or stealth nerfed the block cancel advantage of that string everything still the same really.

Fisticuffs Johnny Cage's B1 start-up is listed as 11 frames now in the move list. It was increased from 9 to 10 in the 6/23 patch.

Can anyone verify if this is a stealth nerf or just a mistake in the move list?
 
Also can nrs stop thinking it's just damage and how fast a move is that's the problem or the reason a character is broken and needs to be fixed and actually Realise it's the move its self, I don't care about the damage its the moves the character has that are the problems

You can take away moves.

It's amazing that some ppl assume NRS is sitting here on TYM looking for the next "Buff my character" thread with the most amount of "crying" in it to use as a guide for their next balance patch. I guess it's impossible to fathom the idea that players who made those threads actually read/understood thier characters frame data and labbed enough to realize that certain things definitely needed to change, or simply weren't ready by the games release. Perhaps it's not coincidence that the patches for certain characters paralleled the threads, but instead that some ppl just actually knew what they were talking about and happened to bring it to the communities attention before NRS could get to the inevitable patching. When characters like Kitana and shinnok are given entirely new moves, or have normals that are -21 on hit it becomes obvious that things were not complete by release, and that NRS was absolutely aware of it. I'm sure this patch (just like the ones prior to it) mostly consist of changes that NRS intended to make, or changes that make the game/character play the way they intended them to play, and not based on who cried the most. Some characters had legit reasons to cry, and Id bet a lot of these changes we alright on the horizon before the "crying" began
