Something very strange has been happening. For those of you who do not know, Upper Deck is the company responsible for the localization of North American Yu-Gi-Oh cards, in tandem with Konami. The card Mr. Sonic Fox showed the camera during his top 8 intro is such an example.
Now Magic the Gathering is a bill. Let's just get that straight right away. Sure, I've never played the card game, but my bill radar is pretty good. I predicted that the 42nd president of the United States was a bill, so we can go ahead and confirm that right now. This is a very curious Yu-Gi-Oh card that I'm sure most of you duelists are familiar with.
The card was made in 1996. Interesting. IIIIIIInteresting.
This is very strange when you consider that Seto Kaiba is the 'CEO' of Kaiba Corp, and that his main card has 8 stars
You start to wonder if the 8 stars is a reference to the top 8, and the card YOMI ship was foreshadowing who would be in the top 8. I believed Sonic Fox was trying to warn us.
I then decided to analyze and cross reference cards from the database with any known relation to the tournament. I managed to bypass the security protocols and was able to view a list of cards also made in 1996, but were disguised to look like cards conceived after the fact. And all was revealed:
