Evo 2015 Ranking Thread

Hi guys,

As you know, Evo 2015 registration closes on June 30th. Shortly thereafter we will make the official brackets and open the public bracket review process. To make sure things go as smoothly as possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could rank the top 16 players going to Evo by midnight, June 30th. When you have your rankings, please nominate one person to mail them to me at [email protected].

Thanks! I look forward to seeing all of you guys again at Evo!

@Ponder you might want to start by not ranking ESL. Its online, SINGLE elim where EVO is double elim so its even a different format, and its ONLY for xbox one users. EVO is on PS4 and many players got the PS4 because it is the EVO standard. Then you go and rank tournaments that are only for xbox one...

Just use offline tournaments for the rankings.

This is going to be impossible to do right before CEO. That will surely mix things up.

There was a thread by @Pig Of The Hut where he had a really good ranking of the top 20 or 30 players. It looked good to me.

Definitely waiting until CEO is over. Dizzy at the tournament is gonna be great.

I say we wait til after CEO for true rankings. Fair?

True rankings never exist. Good rankings are a living-breathing and ever-evolving entity.

I'm sure CEO will shake things up a bit. Hopefully discussion in this topic will bring positive and reliable feedback, and I appreciate that you reached out to the community for this topic.

This was @Pig Of The Hut rankings for the US and Canada. I'm sure it will be adjusted for CEO:

These are the majors I know about: NWM, CB, TCW, ECT, CEO. If I'm missing something, let me know. Here's a list of the players that made Top 8 in those tournaments:

i feel like foxy should have an argument, lots of wins and showed he could hang with others on people's lists

also feel like there has to be at least one florida player on that list, such an underrated scene. CEO will give us answers there i guess...

I can't see how you can put fox anywhere other than first. If anyone was to supplant him it would be DJT but hasn't fox just won more?

I think DJT has maybe been better as of late? Or had more success is what I mean
