Yea they boned the 214 combo. Buts not much damage really man. Still 35% easy with vortex. Who else gets that in the game?

I agree, I can't really find a MU where I would rather play Inferno now tbh. Too risky, and the scaling on MG really hurts where you are specifically going to be using it in the MU, to convert damage on full screen checks in a spot where you may be able to use the move safely. If the movement in this game was slower, maybe it would work...

I also noticed that the timing for 123 after db3 requires more precision now which sucks for online play.

You just can't hit it at max height or the 3 will whiff. You just have to slightly delay the 123 offline. I am sure online you can probably just mash it out and you will be fine.

I dont rly mind the tele cpmbos nerf but the fbc pressure nerf pisses me off. Hardly ever used extele unless for projectile punish or wakeup. Ninjutsu seem viable now. Will try it out for sure

Recently I became a scorp main about less than a month ago and like everyone else got hindered by the hellfire nerf (3 days before CEO no less) in any event I'm still going to use him along with Kano. I might just head over to his ninjutsu variation since that variation has a better neutral game. I was hoping to at least make top 16 before the patch now I just want to make it out of pools. Oh well.

Hey guys Imma get on that new combo thread. Working out the BnBs now.

What layout should I go for? Should I do:
-Category Variations, subcategory meter cost, reset and knockdown combos
-Category reset/knockdown, subcategory variations, further subcategory meter cost
-Category meter cost, subcategory variations, further sub-category meter cost.

I'm thinking the first one.

Holy shit guys. I think I like this nerf. I just played a vet in ranked match with over 1k wins and he knew about the blockstring nerf. I got him to waste meter as well as I got some combo resets. I saved and trimmed the clip and I'm uploading it now. My net is slow so it's at least a couple hours away though.

I didnt mind the nerf all to much either. Thought them having an option would make for more interesting options. Now we dont have to fuck with guessing to do an overhead or low spear. Now they get to push a button and or waste meter.
Also glad Ninjitsu is up there. Never liked Inferno.

Depends on matchmaking. Seems like NA matchmaking isn't separated by locale. I only play against NZ/Aus players so rarely is someone ever too far away for a good connection.

so has anyone found a new home for exfireball since 214~ex fireball no longer jails?
thats the only time id ever use it previously (i know it eats fireballs but its a bit slow to use it for that on reaction to much)

f3 is the only thing that gives a full combo after a blocked d2. But that's only if it is blocked standing because if it's blocked crouching it has too much pushback and you can only get a bf4. It also doesn't consistently punish weapon-based uppercuts like Kung Lao or Cryo Sub-Zero when blocked at tip range.

That, plus the fact that you can't buffer it, makes it hard to rely on...Wait, whose side am I on!?

Oh well. bf4 is bufferable and a consistent punish. I'll stick with that.
