Tech - Sun God Sun God Corner High Damage Reset Idea

I want Kronika to step on my face

With this setup you get 50% (31% + 19%) for one bar and you throw them in the corner which gives you a hard knock down with a lot of advantage. I don't think there's a combo that does high damage and keeps the opponent in the corner, right?

Of course they can choose not to block so the command grab doesn't connect, but you can make it safe by using the OS off the d1 and make the grab not come out on hit. Or if you think they aren't going to block you can try to relaunch them, maybe by doing a 114 and hitconfirm it into a grab or AA grab.

Ideas?

just avoid doing air grab (unless you do it twice) and you'll keep them locked down

edit: f34~ex sundisc leads to good damage as well

How much do these combos do? I imagine the first one does something like 38 or 39%?

I like the idea, but thing is had you just completed that f2 f2 f2 combo you would get 47% dmg or more guaranteed assuming no drop, so not sure how easy it would be to find a practical use for this.

I like the restand option, especially when they are thinking about breaking and you can just do a raw Sun God Choke to close out the round. Very nice!

If I have two bars, I do:

F34~EX sun stone, 114~Ex air grab, 21~air grab (47% with no buffs, 60%+ with crystal totem)

Great damage + relatively easy execution for laggy conditions + keeps them in the corner + F34~EX sun stone is generally one of Kotal's most practical starters in the corner.

It doesnt necessarily has to be the corner you can use b1 midscreen. The damage gain is not that great compared to metered combo damage. However it may be good to use as a 2nd meter extender

f1b2 f2 b2 b14~exgrab, b14~sunchoke lvl3 deals 42% and you dont even have much options here I think that will add more damage to the combo
using this reset into b1~choke will give you ~50% for 2 bars also making last hits unbreakerable. Pretty interesting tech

Meh, It's a good option to have I guess. would be far more deadly if Kotal actually had options to open you up to another full combo. Honestly I'd rather go for the guaranteed damage for one bar than the reset.
