Ideas to give Koins a post-Krypt purpose.

Wagering them in KOTHs and stuff would be cool, but then having nothing to spend on them is still a problem I guess lol. Hopefully they can add some more stuff to spend them on in the future, more back grounds and stuffs is cool with me.

The game gives you coins so slowly I don't think most people will ever unlock the entire krypt.

I'd have loved to have tekken/sc style character customisation for koins but it's quite clear that's not happening now.
They'd have done much better selling clothing sets rather than skins, but meh.

The problem is still stand that the coins still have little to no value. Most players aren't going to care about skip fights/easy fatality for the wager system to work. There has to be something that makes demand (costume, brutality, colors). But I think its best to have like market price costume like in RPG, still not a lot values...

My vote for koin usage is to allow what some of you want: more color options for costumes, and or classic fatalities.

However, if we could use koins to purchase wearable merchandise (hats, gloves, masks, etc.) that either cost a lot of koins or if were awarded for certain milestones (like win 5,000 online matches), that would increase the lifespan of the game.

port over the mkx mobile's equipment system and make those items buyable/usable in a separate mode. there's a variety of really clever trait items in that version i would enjoy seeing implemented

Personally, they had a double coin weekend a few weeks back and combined with the Dragon King set and grinding the towers, I ended up with over a million, (which includes the koins I had from before that weekend as well.)

Id love to see a system where you could convert koins into a donation to a charity at a rate of like 10 000:1. So 10 000 koins could be exchanged for a $1 donation to NRS Kares about Kancer or something....idk. @tylerlansdown ?

This is what I hope. The Create-A-Soul thing in Soul Calibur is so fantastic. I really wish MK had something like this. Even something relatively uncomplex like KI or Dead or Alive accessories would be sweet.

Buying gear and tattoo designs, hair styles would be a great gold sync. Fun to. In Soul Calibur some of the customs people made looked mad good.

I'm pretty sure the krypt unlock DLC is for torny people so they can unlock the stream consoles and stuff. Anyone that plays the game just normally, even casually like me gain enough coin to unlock.. can you unlock in week 1.. or even month 1 playing casually.. probably not.. but considering that if you just go for kombat pack you have a 4 month game.. that is easy to unlock the entire krypt.

Krypt and Easy Fatalities and Fight Skips are the perfect type of DLC. They are completely optional and you have a normal play style work around them and they have absolutely no impact on actual gameplay. I wish all DLC followed this lead.

Yeah I agree. Unlocking the Krpyt in MK9 was a blast, since it wasn't such a grind like it is in this game. It also shouldn't cost 8000 coins for a brutality

You could unlock the entire Krypt for a little over 300,000 koins in MK9.

Ideas to give Koins a post-Krypt purpose.
