I was grinning my ass off when Ultradavid and Aris saw Raptor show up with Takeda last night and thought that the match he won vs Sonya would be an all Sonya blowout. I've seen that dude's stuff...you let off him for a second and you will be made to feel like you are a disadvantage. Pressures from everywhere and punishes most jumps and approaches I've seen people shove his way. The moment he won and Aris stated "we're learning" felt like a victory. Gotta know your scene and not just who is supposedly at the tippy top of tier lists.
Felt even better when a little while later they announced Raptor also took out Michaelangelo who I know is solid and well known. Hopefully that cements him more to some of the dudes out there who apparently doubted his Takeda. Great stuff Raptor.I hope to see you pushing folks to their limits some more. Shame your first set is gonna be vs one of my favorite dudes Trepound. He mained Hawkgirl and anyone who does this is a guy I can't cheer against. For this reason I'll be cheering for both of you.
