To those who don't know, these aren't true block strings, so you can armor through the command grabs. Just like a lot of normals/strings canceled on block.

You have to scout it though, kinda like Ryu's c.mk ~ fb in SF4.
 
like how some also work when hit confirmed like b2 into dbf2 can combo or if blocked and not armored through the grab will connect. wish more characters had tick throws off of normals besides d3/4's

I've yet to find out why but 24~tight squeeze sometimes eats armor moves (as in, they use an armor move there is an armor sound and flash and i grab them anyway). It's a rare occurrence but it has happened against several chars so far including reptile's slippery slide (though i believe it might only happen in the corner). This may warrant further testing.

F2, B2, and 24 into tight squeeze ALL connect on BOTH hit and block. This fact is particularly awesome.

it's not really that good because the reach and speed of those are all bad so you get beat out to often to use them effectively
Disagree. I have had a lot of success with 24. It would definitely help if F2 and B2 were faster, but they both have good range (especially F2)

Yep, I noticed this as well. And it has definitely happened for me midscreen.

Now if only I could do the inputs consistently.

I feel like i've lost so many rounds because I fuck up the grabs.

I can do Goro's like it's second nature but Jason, Kano, and Jax's just don't want to work out for me as consistently as i'd like.

You have to eat the throw because you're in the block stun of an attack. A staple of the main man Lobo.
Well, jumping gets you out of lobo's tick throws and prob all of the tick throws in this game... not sure. But yeah you can't just block. You have to do something specific to get out of it.

I had most success with b2 myself the 24 always gets ducked poked and pressure reversed , to bad we cant choose which side we toss them with the command grab :(

Macro you bastard. I just sat and made a nice big colorful thread (without looking at what threads already existed) with all of his tick throws. What a waste of 10 minutes :/

Well, jumping gets you out of lobo's tick throws and prob all of the tick throws in this game... not sure. But yeah you can't just block. You have to do something specific to get out of it.
lobos throws hit low though right? These hit mid so even if you were to jump you'd be taken right out of the sky on start up

All of Jasons jump in attacks tick throw. But there seems to be some kind of inconsitency with them, they work 3 or 4/5 times it seems to depend on whether the opponent breathes up or down and/or the distance Jason jumps from and/or the height Jason hits the opponent.
