you have 9 frame window. kenshis d1 is 9 frames. only d2(7).

You know what. If you get hit by f12, it's +17 on hit and guarantees a 13f 50/50 (b2 - b32). Everyone knows Raiden is dumb, that's why I play it. And MIT's Raiden is not even trying to work.

I just realized, isn't it systematically impossible for Kenshi to get a clean hit after a blocked F12 into another F12 without trading with Raiden if he doesn't have meter?

The Sonicfox vs. Showtime match was a classical example of giving too much respect to your opponent. He gave too much room for Sonicfox to work with and he took advantage of it and controlled the pace of the match.

Also congrats to @Smargasm. The fact that you were flawlessled and bounced back to make it out of pools against the same opponent is quite amazing. I thought it was over after that, glad I was wrong.

the kenshi vs raiden situation is dumb. i am making a video of my opinion on it right now.

and yes, MIT's raiden is super far from any semblence of optimization, but f12 f12 is a simple enough strategy to execute and effective. also pig went MILEENA at some point for some reason, mileena has JUST AS HARD of a time with f12 f12 type stuff b/c her normals are also horribly slow just like kenshi's.

I don't know whether to be amused or salty that I was actually one match away from making it out in spite of how I don't even play MKX outside of once in a blue moon. But at least I can get set for my real focus tomorrow afternoon.

No kenshi trades with d2. A trade thats in his favor. Not an amazing option, but an option nonetheless

F1 IS NOT A BLOCK INF. As "KENSHI", you can d2 his shit with a trade in YOUR FAVOR. Plus when you had bar, MIT respected you waay to much, but all you did was run up and try to grab. every time. instead of low starter or a simple jump over and get the fuck out of dodge mode..

it's not a block inf, but the situation is TERRIBLE for kenshi. please don't get it twisted, raiden can f12 slight delay w/ block f12 and that will beat mash d2 from kenshi which is -18 on block or just f12 f12 on block to beat anything else (INCLUDING BACKDASH)

More importantly, if you are a TG raiden player, work on your hit confirms! MIT is leaving a lot of dmg on the table not doing so.

Few things

1. He can commit to f12 b2 for full combo that's safe

2. Kenshi tries a just frame d2 and whiffs/baited now eating 45% combo

3. Kenshi normals being crap are the issue

4. Also if I try reversal armor ex sc or ex to guess what? Raiden blocks it then it's a 45% combo

I know its a gaming community thing, and you've got 40 year olds to 17 year olds..

But I wish there was more humility / sportsmanship. The handshakes seem like a joke when you're teabagging mid match and calling people scrubs on Twitter.
