EX - Enhanced version of a special attack or string and in many cases leads to a launch.

Shoulder - 9%. Covers half screen. Hits Mid. Knocks down in front of you. EX version does 13%, has 1 hit of armor and pops up for a follow up in Bone Shaper or Necromancer. In the corner it turns into a universal launcher. Comes out in 12 frames and is -15 on block for both versions.

Sparks - 10%. EX does 18%. 3 blasts come from the ground and cover up close to a bout half screen. Mostly used as a spacing tool/anti air. Comes out at 13 frames. EX version comes out at 7 frames. Can enhance the sparks to pop up for a combo after any spark or obtain MASSIVE BLOCK ADVANTAGE. Non enhanced blast is very unsafe if blocked (-27). After the 3rd spark, the EX version can be interrupted by advancing armor moves.

Amulet Blast - 9% (Both versions). Hits high (EX version hits mid for less range)Approximately -9 on block. EX version is +14 on block and launches in the corner. It is also capable of cancelling out some projectiles. Covers sweep distance range. Unavailable in Bone Shaper.

Mimicry - 2%. Hits Mid. Leaves the opponent standing in which opponent can be thrown or attacked from and will steal a move from the opponent except against himself. Impostor exclusive.

Air Tricky Portal - An Air teleport. Can do neutral jump attacks out of it. Impostor exclusive.

Dark Beam - Hits Mid. 8% (12% EX). Great projectile thanks to the 6-23-15 patch with a hit advantage of +8 and approximately -3 on block. EX version knocks down on hit. Bone Shaper exclusive

Scepter Slam - Hits Low. 9% (8% on EX). Nearly reaches full screen and switches positions. EX version launches and has 1 hit of armor. Very unsafe on block (-29). Bone Shaper exclusive.

Scepter Quake - 8% (12% EX). Unblockable Ground pound. EX version OTG's. Bone Shaper exclusive.

Summoned Fiend - Does 10% (8% EX. Launches). Hits Mid. Tracks the opponents position. Unsafe on block. Catches runners thanks to the 6-23-15 patch. Necromancer exclusive.

Judgment Fist - 10% (15% EX) Summons an unblockable hand from above opponent's current position. Very slow to come out. (58 frames) Can be aimed behind and in front to catch running opponents. Also OTG's if enhanced. Necromancer exclusive.

Bone Flick - 10% (15% EX). Hits Mid. Tracks the opponents position. Sends opponents full screen on hit. -8 on block. Necromancer exclusive.

Oh hey my little Bone Shaper meterless corner combo!

It's a very useful combo. You can add up to 2 more d1s for 2% more damage but it becomes tighter with each d1.

BTW what's the trick to consistently land a NJP after an EX scoop? I fuck it up like half the time especially because I never catch them twice from the same spot on the screen.

Hmm... I usually rack up a bit more damage starting with a n.j.p. but it could just be me.

Like n.j.p -step forward- d.2 f.22xxspark (MB 2nd hit) f.22xxshoulder or something.

This is a good list, but I wouldn't recommend any of those Imposter BnB's with the dash>NJP as they negate your ability to put your opponent into a vortex.

You should at least put in 1,1,2/Sparks EX>J2,F2,2/Mimicry

then vortex.

EDIT: I should clarify that his vortex is character specific, but there are tons of threads in here about what to follow up with.

How does doing NJP negate the vortex? Am I missing something?

String, db2 Ex, dash, NJP, F3, mimicry.
You can even do jump 2 instead of dash for more damage.

He's saying that if you use a NJP in a combo that ends in mimicry that you won't be able to use the option of air teleport close to the ground and then mixing up between NJP or f4 when you land. If you already used a NJP before the mimicry another NJP will splat them.

But, Shinnok has a grounded overhead now so you can go ahead and use NJP combos and then when they are stunned from mimicry you can just mix-up between f4 and b3 and go into vortex. Perhaps this gentlemen posted that before he had downloaded the patch.

Pretty easy combo while in Boneshaper

f3, 1, d+2 > dB 2(enhance last hit) > j1, f2, 2 > bf3 =30% 1 bar

This is pretty simple on execution, does 30% for 1 bar, and can add more damage by including a jump in 1 or 2 before the combo begins.

Besides, if you like auto pilot after a jump in, this string is for you. f3, 1, d+2 is safe on block.
Free 30% combos, I'm omw!

*EDIT*
If you substitute df2 for bf3 at the end of your combo, the damage output will increase to 32% from 30%.

Can you try ending a combo with F22throw xx hell sparks and see how much more damage it does over dark beam? And can you MB the hell sparks again and see how much damage you can get with 2 bars?

If the 2nd hell sparks do a quick restand can you try a ground pound immediately after that?

There's not much of a difference damage wise in long combos except throwing them near full screen.

...and no. Opponents can get up pretty fast after Sparks hit.

And I found a mid-screen 1 bar combo that does 36% in his Necromancer variation.
