I guess we're just assuming because MK9's DLC characters had no alt costumes, Injustice DLC had 1 (Man of Steel Zod) and Jason has no alt. It's just a trend at this point, and Jason not having an alt is confirmation enough for me that this will continue. Shit, I'd pay extra for more GOOD skins even for the DLC characters I already paid for. I don't want fucking South African Rap Star Jason Vorhees or whatever absolute bullshit NRS wants to release, though.

Jaqui -booty shorts and tank hair tied and curly like in comic.
Cutie and Beast - bioshock(lil sister big daddy)
DWHORAH -bug costume similar to how they gave reptile kracken.Give Dvorah like a bee or spider skin
Kotal- type emperor skin show his dominance
Takeda-some type pretty boy outfit/laid back.
Erron- more extreme version of classic cowboy.
Cassie-same as jaqui.Costume from comic when they were working out.

@John Grizzly I can understand, with licensing and other things, why Jason would only have the one skin. There is only so much they can probably do with property that isn't actually NRS's property to change.

True they could but if you pay more attention to NRS they cater to certin characters.I did use my brain sr.You play mk9? Half roster only had 1 alt. Injustice yes therewas lot skins but how many was for same damn person? I mained sheeva mk9 so ik what im saying.Lol NRS if if they release new character pack probably be 1 pack. So why dont you use history .Thank you.

They're already doing better than they did for Injustice and MK9. You can stop trying to be smug at the end of your posts now.

My only complaint (so far) is that DLC characters appear to have no extra skin , i mean, wtf? even goro that is a Disc Locked Character did not have a second skin, whats so hard about that?

I'm sure they would if they could, but as everything boils down to money, there are some reasons why they would neglect the new characters for old ones. People already know and love Scorpion, Sub-Zero, ect. That and nostalgia will lead fans to spend money on the packs that they have planned (although I have no idea wtf is up with the Brazilian Pack...). They had no idea how people would react to these new characters, so planning ahead to make DLC costumes for them was a gambit that didn't make sense to make because there was no guarantee it would pay off. But, like @Eldriken is saying, there's always a possibility for more. I'm sure NRS is seeing our reactions to the new characters and, if they have the means, would be more than happy to make more DLC costumes for them.

I'd personally love to see one of the concept art costumes for Ferra/Torr be a thing. It had skulls on both of them and looked really badass.

If it taking half a second to realize your error is having a lot of time to you, then I suppose I do. But nothing is burning me up, dude. You're the one who just typed up this elaborate example to compare me to and yet I'm the one with too much time. I think you're the one who is burned up, man. The Brazilian pack is much like the Kold War pack. Huge MK followings in Brazil and Russia. I'm sure that NRS is also taking into account the popularity of certain characters. Why spend the money like @ThaJyesta said on a character that isn't getting as much play as Scorpion for example. I'm sure with how good sonicfox is doing in the tournament scene with Erron Black they may go ahead and give him a new skin, Quan Chi and Ermac have also been playing pretty well in tournaments so maybe we will see some more for them. Who knows, except for Boon himself.

I hope people understand that sales play a huge part in whether DLC will continue to be made or not.

So, not buying DLC skin pack because you don't like the outfit? Valid.

Not buying skins because they haven't released a "Victoria's Secret" pack with Cassie, Jacquie and Erron Black? Not helping the situation.

Of course I played MK9....and no shit, I understand they cater to certain characters. I'm talking about the DLC characters not having an alt. I'd be happy with just an alt, which everyone in MK9, INJ and MKX have at least one.

We are being sold "full-fledged characters" as DLC but they're really not complete in my opinion, being as they have no alt skins. I'm using "history", as you say to arrive at this conclusion because there has been exactly ONE alt skin (MOS Zod) for a DLC character out of ELEVEN so far (12 if you count Kratos).
