General/Other - Jax Jax little too Safe?

Lol this is this thread serious? If they nerf Jax's block strings to - anything he becomes terrible. He's already hard as shit to execute with and if your footies are decent or even if you only know how to do an armor reversal, his pressure slows down a lot.

He is strong, but not broken. There are 3 characters that piss me off in this game and he is definitely not one of them.
Jax is the most annoying char in the game.
 
You've balls the size of boulders if you duck within overhead lunge range.

I think the problem is that he has none, he has no glaring weaknesses.

He has pretty much everything.
Apparently making reads and taking risks are not in fighting games anymore..... Just letting you know, that the dash punch (overhead or high) are both punishable with a read.

Coming from someone who mains the three highest tier characters lol... So glad they all got nerfed.

I just don't see how a rushdown character who has plenty of holes in his game is more annoying then Grandmaster Turtle Sub, Inferno Vortex Scorpion, Quan Cheese, or Full Auto Spam Jackie. Sonia's mixups are equally hard to deal with and Ermac always seems to annoy me a little. A good Johnny Cage, Devorah, and other characters seem to have comparable block strings to Jax.

I don't mind Quan (even pre patch). I hope they take away inferno scorpion's wakeup teleport. Sure his vortex is punishable, but he has a get out of jail free card on wakeup, so he can afford to take vortex risk all the time and not face the consequences of other vortex characters (Quan cheese has to deal with wakeup pressure over and over, which justifies his amazing vortex).

Most chars you mentioned their mistakes can be punished. Cant say that about all safe jax.

You can neutral jump KJ on his wake ups and he has to hold that.

Every combo ending his momentum is absolute horsehit. In Pumped Up every combo ends in a restand into run in pressure.

Anything Jax can try to do (including f21) is beat out by low pokes and armor. In the corner, all he can do is d1, which is also beat out by armor and is -5 on block. Compared to the other top characters and their post-combo pressure options, I'd call that an end to his momentum.

Half screen? Come on man, its dash distance. And while people can poke out of the pressure, thats when you bait them out by either waiting then Dash punching(the comboable one) or run up and block. Almost everything in this game is beat out by armor except certain run cancels. In the corner if you are getting armored you need to mix it up more, respect the armor and then punish the hell out of it and reset the situation. He Doesnt get free momentum but it doesn't stop his momentum either.

For the record, this is my most played MU(two of my training partners play the character) and I do most of the things you just said. Jax has the options to make me think twice about doing it.
