We had the same decision to make at NWM. This is a tough spot for any TO to be In and I support @Rocksteady 100%. I challenge a Kung Lao to win with this because even with it they haven't done shit.
Prob because not many knew about it and haven't fleshed it out. It definitely has its uses. Especially against characters that knock you down far away.

trust me its there. if you really want to see for yourself you can delete all your mkx data and unplug your shit from the internet and test it out. guarantee you this still happens. unless for whatever reason this only happens on the pc version and the current version on consoles but that would jsut be silly

Banning Kung Lao was the only other option available. You think that option is less damaging? Kung Lao isn't banned, and they didn't even say the glitch can't be used. They just said it will be monitored and cannot be abused.
I do use hatgrinder when I get knocked down full screen. I throw out a hat when the opponent thinks he can run in on me for free. Rarely use it though

Ermac wasn't banned, it was just one variation. While yes variations make characters very different, they could still play Ermac. This is an entire character we're talking about here, not just one variation. Huge difference.
If someone won their match with an unbreakable move (X-ray) that they should not have even had enough meter for, I feel that would be a very easy decision by the judge hahah
Lets hope cus if I see this and the match isn't forfeited I would DQ my damn self for not wanting to be a part of such fuckery.
