Should Kung Lao Be Banned This Weekend at Combo Breaker?

It's a bug that doesn't belong in the game. In most cases I would say ban since that's the way it should be but given the situation, I would say let KL abd if this bug is used in match, automatic DQ or loss of the round. That way KL players still get to represent their character.

My reasoning is this. The wakeup itself is easily stuffable and does not have armor and punishable. A smart Lao player will never use wu teleport when getting pressured. The only reason to ever wu with this is to get the bar. So why not just ban Lao players from waking up teleport? It doesn't hurt their gameplan at all.

I remember when people were saying raidens meter gain was bullshit. look at ermac and kung lao laughing thier asses off.


Btw Not sure if this had been said but they patched ermacs meter gain in spectral

Right, I totally understand that.

I suggest there be a judge on hand and when a KL player starts a match they just waive over a judge to have them watch.

People that are saying ban the move. Are you serious? Why not just ban sand toss while were at it.

If this is so easy to do then it will be easy to punish.

If you wakeup with tele or hat throw you're not gonna win. Ever. Just disqualify anyone who uses the glitch. If someone uses steroids in baseball they get disqualified, why not apply same logic to mk? I know for a fact that if someone glitches melee and tries to be master hand they would probably not be allowed to play any more matches

So you mean to tell me if you get hit by any move that knocks you full screen, you wouldn't use wakeup hat toss for a free bar of meter?

Hmm, why not just limited the number of times Kung Lao can do wake up tele (regular) like 2-3 times max? Anything than that would result in forfeiting the match.

I don't think banning a whole character is fair for those that played him since release day.

If you know you'll get a free bar for that you'll be a fool if you won't. Cyrax and Kabal were on steroids through all of MK9. Noone said a word.
Come on guys, a character was banned for having one broken move, but another one will not for having a bunch? Feeling bad for Lao players, but colt better hurry up with a hotfix option for random bar gaining.
