Anyone know if 214~lrc links with another 214? I can't get it to work but I know f12 links. I'm just playing around w meterless damage to see what I can get

i actually couldnt get anything to link after 214 lrc so you must be better than me at it haha. i just assumed the late cancel advantage made it not good for lrc combos.

30% meterless low starter in corner. not fantastic but pretty nice since b32 is so block confirmable.

Eh? Pretty sure it was -13 pre patch, ie punishable as opposed to regular db2. Not sure if that changed, our platform is getting updates only when enigmatic balance patch is out apparently

Found some interesting combos that involve the Lightning ball EX.

*Note the lightning is hitting twice if you time it right*

If someone can please replicate this on PS4 (as I'm playing on Xbone) so I know what the true damage of the combos are that would be great.

Also one final note with the second when recording it I was testing a reversal punish in EX shocker, hence why I didn't start with 2,1,4. And you could probably squeeze in more damage if I did NJP after EX shocker
Notations

Combo 1:
F1,2,B2 - B1,4 DB1 EX xx LRC F1,2,B2 (hold for 4 charges) BF3

Combo 2:
DF2 EX - B1,4 DB1 EX xx LRC F1,2,B2 (hold for 4 charges) BF3

No you're thinking of EX Shocker DF2

He meant EX Vicinity Blast DB2

That's what I get for not thinking with inputs and not using VB enough I think.

Although some people expressed concern about being able to duck shocker after certain strings even on block. Same may be applicable to VB. Although I haven't tested that.

Dammit, the tech is out lol. Well i got some big combos on the way. Ive maximised every combo starter at midscreen and at the wall.

daaaamn maaaan!! yesterday i tried every move with VB except b1,1!!! good find... TO THE LAAAB!!
edit: b1,1 vb was useful, but i couldnt find anything more damaging than
ji2, 214 , shocker, j1, b14 frc 214 , superman 41% :/

also @TONY-T i was using your max prepatch combos before you post the video but i waited for you to upload them, not like @lordspinalkillerinstinct who revealed your secrets!! lol
(also i had one prepatch max corner 1 bar that you havent found, i dont know if you still dont know it.. i will post it if you want)

i liked them for a combo video but i dont think they are very practical (also 2bar combos are very expensive!!) ...im gonna try them tomorrow..
but great findings after all!!

2 bar combos are expensive in displacer and MoS, but not so much in TG in my opinion. The meter building options he has with the lightning strings in that variation make 2 bar combos viable. You can get all of that back in the corner.

Im using those right now in the corner

meterless
b2 b2 213 f12b2hold,b14~shocker/superman = 37% same damage as b2 b2 b14~lrc etc but easier to do (for me at least)
b32 no hold or small hold - b2, 214~shocker/superman = 28%
f12b2 no hold , b2, 214~shocker = 27%

meter
b2 - same as before = 45%
b32 no hold or small hold b2 b14~exshocker, b14~lrc etc = 38% (luckily i think you can hitcofirm b14)
b33 exshocker, b2 , 214~shocker/superman = 38%
f12b2 no hold , b2, b14~exshocker, b14~lrc etc = 37%
exshocker b2 b14~lrc etc= 36%

combos off 34 (last hit) are the same as after b2 but deal 1% less

edit: oh yeah and
njp, j3 , b14~lrc etc = 28% , 35% with meter (same as most combos above)

I've gotten F2,2+4/VB to connect after 2,1,3...only thing is it's Displacer/Master of Storms specific

2,1,3-F2,2+4/VB-Run Cancel-B1,4/EX Shocker-B1,4/Superman does 35% IIRC.
