Strategy - Summoner Zoning with Puggle is no longer god like

:( :( Well I think the last patch well balance the zoning with puggle. I test this morning and we can no longer summon puggle like before. Puggle doesn't go as fast as he used to when we need to summon him a 2nd time.
We have to wait 2 or 3 sec.

A good choice from NRS ? What do you think ?

As long as it doesn't affect his godlike mix ups, it's ok. You can still frame trap closing the time between bats with ex runes and well spaced skulls. I didn't have a chance to play the game after patch....can someone tell me something:
The patch notes say that cool down is activated when the bat hits the opponent,so if puggles is blocked is he still on cool down?!

Yes! That is what I have been saying, you can still fullscreen frametrap people. Dink even explains it step by step:) :
1. A blocked Skull ( or the skull on hit of course) from 3/4 to fullscreen = guaranteed Rune/Ex Rune,
2. A blocked Ex Rune ( on hit gives you a combo even full screen away) from 3/4 to fullscreen = guaranteed Bat Summon
3. After that you read your opponent and either through a skull or a bat:
Skull is followed by bat, bat=free Skull and Skull brings us back to step 1.
And all of it builds meter pretty fast so you will usually be able to do a couple of repetitions before running out of meter!

An other important point: Several corner combos are not viable anymore in order to set up pressure. Well it's not a very big issue, you just have to adapt a little bit to generate the good timing to summon again.

Lol. You guys really have to begin to appreciate how godlike crunchy is in mkx. What a heaping pile of shit that character was in Mk9. I mained that low tier predictable as hell no viable wake up piece of crap. Go play Mk9 for 20 minutes...even with the rune trap he was ass. Maybe not as bad as Kano (thank fuck that NRS no longer made him shit tier and gave him an overhead other than b2 which sucked so hard. )

Quan's mk9 midscreen combos online were so depressing too. You had to use online combos. Rivaled only by reptile's njp...that character was impossible to play online and you damn near had to resort to lag tactics. I'm getting ptsd thinking about this shit!

The mkx netcode still seems pretty shitty too though. Why the hell did they add Brazilian costumes too?! Nooooooo! Jajajajaja filet o' fish Brazilian fifa Wi-Fi!

These games are the fucking worst online....it's like passing kidney stones every day and you'll lose to mk2 uppercut random xraying scrubs because you can't punish that shit online. Sf4 is bad with the dps too but at least you can throw those idiots. Why does it have pushback on block, nrs? Damn you! That's a royal shit idea paired with that junk netcode. Good luck landing combos.


Ughhhhhh! I haven't even bought next gen and mkx and this reinforces that i shouldn't. Can't get it on pc either because nrs insist on hiring incompetent dipshits because they charge less. I enjoy these games but god damn....nrs and wb go out of their way to pound us right up the ass. I still have mk9 on pc which is literally unplayable....lol....

Ok, so you're telling me in a game with numerous armored dash attacks, slides, safe crossover teleports, a fucking run mechanic and all sorts of other tomfuckery ways of getting in on the opponent, it was Quan Chi's zoning that was breaking the game? Are you fucking kidding me? Please point me in the direction of the forum posts or Twitter whining or whatever that made this happen because I can't find it. Or whatever "pro" pulled the switch on this so I can rip him a new one.
