Can someone help me confirm this? Sub's stand 1 start up seems like 8, not 7. I tried kano spamming b1 on block and I only can trade. But Cassie 7 frame jab can beat it clean.

I tested Kano's St.1 which has 7 frames of start up and can trade. Cassie's St.1 and St.2 are 6 frames and 5 frames respectively and beat it.

I don't understand, Kano's cybernetic b1 is 0 on block with 9 frame start up. If sub has 7 frame standing, how come I only trade if kano spam b1 on block

It's the exact same concept. You do the same technique of inputs and the game option selects for you.

They're there, I'm doing them right now.

You need to input them really fast when it comes to F4 iceball/clone.

How do you guys feel about the ferra torr match up? It feels like viscious can just run over grandmaster sub zero... any advice from more experienced subs?

There is absolutely 0 need to chuck anything punishable. Play footsies, you're better at it than he is.

Safejump him on knockdown, beware of his command grab distance and use clone smartly.

What do you use to punish a slide happy Erron Black who slides into your ice clones constantly?

What do you guy's do when you catch someone doing a move into clone that leaves their hitbox too low to convert a NJP or even a B2 sometimes?

Do you think you could explain how the input for the F4 xx Clone/Ice Ball OS looks? I'm having difficulties getting it, and I'm not sure if I'm doing my inputs wrong or not. I'll get N1k0lass to get as much greek alcohol that he can carry over to you if you help me out.

I usually just use 2,4,2~Slide
the first 2 wont hit if they're too low, but it will do decent damage and allow you to set another clone. Haven't gotten to practice this too much. Hope this helps

It looks like you can punish with run ~ b12

EX iceball is 21f, plenty of time to run up and do a normal if you read a puddle.

Watch Pig of the Hut's the Armory episode 3 and you'll not only get a better understanding of them in general, but also with regards to Sub Zero. Option selects are a familiar fighting game concept.
