Lets try this again, but this time explain to me how Kenshi's zoning and mix up are both worse than decent, decent obviously meaning "okay". And how 30% off of a mix up is bad damage. And correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Kenshi could combo into ex something, jump in, d1, and he had frame advantage enough to mix up into overhead, low, any variation of his fairly extensive list of options shown in Pigs original video, or just throw. Is this vortex not in the game anymore?

It isnt very good, this is very simple.
To matter at all you need 3 bars of meter
b3 ex df1 b1 ex db4 ji2 d1 <-----I think around 28%-32% and costs two bars and if blocked punishable when compared to someone like Quan who can do b324 ex rune to make his 50/50 safe yet kenshi spends a bar to get raped
So lets say you hit the combo above, ok......lets look at your options
If you have a third bar you can do f2/ex df1 or b2 ex df1 for 27% combo if blocked you just spent three bars to take another 28% (pretending you hit the above combo to get to this situation) and again if blocked you get rekt for more dmg than what you just tried to spend 3 bars for
So lets say after hitting the first combo to get to the d1 situation you dont wanna spend a third bar or you dont have it to spend. Well you can do f2 bf2 which is 14% and safe if hit or b3 bf2 for about the same or 311 or an unsafe 31 ex df1 or 31 df1
So the other option is instead of doing the D1 reset you just end the original combo with ji2 f32 bf3 WHICH DOES THE SAME EXACT damage as the 311 and 31 df1 options from the d1 reset
Hence...................The vortex is pretty shit and basically not worth it
