People aren't punishing Kung Jin at all. @Pig Of The Hut you missed a few punishes against Takeda and Kung Jin, but everyone knows this community will get there.

Kung Jin...the character who you get surprised by OFTEN. Both on where the next attack is coming from, how many things it can punish and just how long the combos go before you realize that not breaking it early was a mistake.

My advice...pour it on and beware the wakeup game. I'm still trying to figure out whether my best Oki tool will just plain be to backdash and bait whifs to punish.

You were blocking really well tho.

And you can't punish Kung Jin's overhead f24 or his low b14...it's 0 and -4 frame respectively... so don't be mistaken by prior comments lol My biggest threat is when somebody learns the spacing then they can punish jump ins and divekicks but still be out of f2 range

I'm aware bud. I was attempting to point out no one has strong MU knowledge at this point and that the community will get there. Everyone is talking like Kung Jin is broke, but we're not punishing properly yet. Once that happens people will change their tune.

The bow spin thing is definitely punishable and I witness a lot of Jin players getting away with that right now. It happened at the ATL local and it happened at NWM. Once people start punishing that, Jin players will be forced to play more safe.

His non EX divekick is not safe as well. A lot of people are getting away with special moves right now is my point because the game is so young. I haven't learned the frame data of his strings yet, so I cannot comment on that.

Gonna watch this tonight to see what I was doing wrong with kenshi. But to my knowledge of playing him. Pig must be great at blocking not to mention his fundamentals makes him in general a good player.
