Predict the overnerfs/buffs

I wouldn't be surprised if D'Vorah and/or Kung Jin get completely destroyed by the nerf hammer...
Do you think chip reduction and reduced meter gain on Bug Blast would be overkill? It's like MB Trident Rush 2.0. >_>

Get a PS4 and let's go. Oh, wait, wait...you probably won't play me because I'm not good at this game since my Doomsday training wheels fell off. =(
Your probably bad, but jaqcui is winning you games because every1 is bad and can't deal with her zoning. Once they nerf her you can play Kano.

The only reason I win is because quans zoning is laughably strong and I have a cheap vortex.

Things that need nerfs: lk block inf.
Quan bat cooldown post summon
Kano b1 frame adv.

Things that need buffs cage bbl
Quan wakeup

Except I don't only win with zoning. You really are dead set on thinking that any and all Doomsday players are no good at any other fighting game, aren't you? It's like you absolutely can't fathom the possibility.

Loses to uppercuts
Kung Jin will no doubt get nerfed with the amount of people whining about him because hes a very accessible character. As if execution makes a difference on balance.
For the record I don't think ANY character should be nerfed right now, as it's far too early, and every character seems to be pretty good.

That being said, KJ's low skillcap isn't why people are having problems with him. 46% for one bar far outside normal melee range is pretty harsh. That NJP though. That JIP though. 36 or 38% meterless IIRC from far outside normal melee range. A REALLY fucking good overhead and low starter, both for big damage. Super fucking good armor, that leads into full combo. Easily able to stuff almost all other characters armor moves. These are the reasons I have trouble with KJ, not because he's easy.

Once again I don't think he should be touched, we all need a lot more experience against him before we can reasonably say he's overpowered.

*Spit* No Charge
I haven't really played against all the characters nor have I tried all of them so I can't really say. All I know is that NRS needs to quit catering to casuals and let the game breathe. They are wayy too hellbent on patching their games.

Hopefully with this one they will only remove infinites, fix bugs/glitches, improve the online experience, fix the replay data, and buff whoever ends up being low tier so they can deal with the top tier rather than nerfing characters into the ground. Sometimes you just gotta tell these people who aren't going to learn the game a nice "Fuck You, deal with it", and hopefully they will do that.

Phosferrax

Original Liu Kang cop.
Buzzsaw Lao low hat will probably be nerfed. Some frames on some will probably get d4's nerfed a bit.

Jin will get slightly nerfed, Quan's bat will get a bit nerfed, it's not like he already has a way to make his vortex plus on block or anything.

Takeda will probably get buffed a bit, Sub will probably get nerfed a bit.

After playing through Story Mode, I'm convinced someone at NRS really HATES Quan Chi with a passion.

There's no less than three scenes and subsequent quick time events of him getting punched repeatedly in the face.

So inb4 Quan Chi nerfed to the nether-netherealm.

I'd laugh if an NRS dev tweeted that people are gonna have to deal with everything in the game (barring glitches, exploits, etc) for a year before we receive a real balance patch. IMAGINE THE TEARS.
NRS stops patching well before a year is up. It's the cost of the every two years a new game thing. I expect we'll see all the buffs and nerfs around the end of the second kombat pack, if there is a second.

I am watching Michelangelo on stream, no way is Quan bat staying. Whether that ruins him who can say.

I guess we'll find out on May 5. I think the first patch is going to have nerfs to Quan, Sub, Jacqui and Scorp. Cause NRS hates zoning so much. ;)

Yep. Yet they're the ones who put it in the game to begin with, lololol.

Come On Die Young
I'm honestly worried about Jacqui getting nerfed. A slight tonedown would be fine on full auto, but her space control is what makes the character work. After playing the other two variations for like two weeks before I started using full auto, her neutral game does not feel very strong outside the ability to use those tools. Her best normal footsie tool is relatively slow and is outranged by almost everyone else. As long as they don't somehow make full auto unviable though she should be fine. But she kinda needs it.
