What do you think is the best variation to use?

Oops my bad, yea I was talking about his tongue attack. I agree with what was said about his overhead though. It's pretty obvious that when you're up close you know you have to block high vs Reptile.
Not always. Reptile can B3 + ex fast forceball/ex dash you for good damage, too.

Or you could do B3 into ex klaw pounce for a quick low to overhead attack that also leads to a combo, granted klaw pounce is very unsafe.

Why would you do that instead of Klaw Swipe? It's less unsafe and it leads to a full combo.
I had actually forgot about klaw swipe lol. But as long as the B3 hits, you are guaranteed a combo with the ex forceball. If the B3 is blocked, the forceball won't come out and you'll not waste meter. I don't know if the same happens with klaw swipe.

I did find some improved meterless corner combos of some listed here. I've written them down arranged in damage/difficulty:

For f421 combos you can alternate depending on how well you can time them. Back Jump Punches are faster, so easier to combo off.

f421, forceball, bjp, fjp, 1, f421+slide - 31%
f421, forceball, bjp, fjp, 21, f421+slide - 32%
f421, forceball, bjp, fjp, fjk, f421+slide - 32% (landing a 1 after fjp doesn't add damage)
f421, forceball, bjp, d2, throw - 32%
f421, forceball, bjp, njp, 21, f421+slide - 33%
f421, forceball, bjp, njp, fjk, f421+slide - 33%
f421, forceball, bjp, fjp, fjk, 21, f421+slide - 33% (perfect timing)
f421, forceball, bjp, fjp, 3, f421+slide - 33% (perfect timing)
f421, forceball, bjp, d2, f421+slide - 34% (out of corner)

Now some with Back Jump Kicks.

f421, forceball, bjk, 21, f421+slide - 33%
f421, forceball, bjk, fjk, f421+slide - 33% (perfect timing, landing a 1 after fjk doesn't add damage)

For 2124, I got some good ones too.

2124, njp, d2, throw - 29%
2124, njp, d2, f421+swipe - 31% (out of corner)
2124, njp, 3, f421+swipe - 31%
2124, njp, fjp, fjp, 3, f421+slide - 31%
2124, n/fjp, fjk, 21, f421+slide - 31%
2124, njp, fjk, d2, throw - 31% (perfect timing)
2124, njp, fjp, d2, f421+slide - 32% (out of corner)
2124, njp, fjk, 3, f421+slide - 32%
2124, njp, 3, 21, f421+slide - 33%
2124, njp, fjk, d2, f421+slide - 33% (perfect timing)

Hope that helps. These were all tested on Ermac, I'm not sure if he's got a bigger hitbox than average. I may find more.

Are these universal? And are these all Corner combos?

@MK_GDROM Thanks for adding the combos to the OP. I put in d4 twice, those should be d2 (uppercut). Sorry about that. I updated my original post, so you can copy again.

There should be some more variety, but I wrote down the gist of them. Think people prefer different approaches depending on how they can pull them off. The more damaging ones (and specifically those with the perfect timing) are very hard to pull off and probably not recommended. I would recommend the 32% moves with f421, and the 31% with 2124, as they are relatively easy to pull off.

No problem, I might need some help going through it and making it more organized (suggestions?) so we can have a clean looking thread here. I appreciate all the work you, @RM Cossner @THTB @Badfulgore and others have contributed so we can get all of our Reptiles good to go. Ok, I'll have to try those out. I'm having trouble with timings on some of his strings. Such as the one string that is f421->Dash (whiff)->21->421->Ender of choice. Am I supposed to already be inputing 21 in after the dash starts or what? Yeah, I need more time into the lab for sure, but I will focus on confirming f421 and memorizing block strings for today.

The 21 needs to be input shortly after the dash animation ends. Like, pretty close to immediately after. I'd suggest getting used to when the dash ends by jumping straight up. That way, you can get a visual approximation as to when you can move again.

Thank you for the help. I will try that from now on.

This might be easier and ends up doing the same amount of damage or up to 36% depending on if you jip/ how many 1's you connect

f2,2,1, fast forceball, BJK, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, f4, 1, 2, slide/setup move

Without jump in punch and also only connect three 1 it ends up being 33%. The timing can be difficult to get 4 or 5 1s but to get three is pretty easy

Is that universal as well or does that only work with Nimble?

you can also use the block button to visualize when ready to get the new string.
check also the data to have a rough idea of how much you need to wait: remember that 1 sec are 60frames.

then a lot of lab, even if you finish the day unsuccessfully, I guarantee you the day after will be a lot better :D

reptile is amazing to learn things

Thank you all. I was able to finally get it three times, and was able to learn a lot of my block strings and use them effectively online. It feels so great to be able to see the lab pay off. :D

So a new anti-air I've been using is Reptile's ex claw. I find his uppercut to trade or just get beat out by ppl's jump attacks. But ex claw works like a charm absorbing the hit and allowing me to do a combo afterward.
