Question - A-List is run useful in a-list?

I've been messing around with some simple run combos in training, but nothing i've come up with has topped 20%, has anyone figured out practical run combos for a-list or do they not exist?

I know run canceling is used for offensive pressure on block, but i want to know if there's anything useful it can do mid-combo. I joined these forums just to see if I could get an answer lol.

You can run cancel into anything and running is a huge aspect of the game.
Yeah ive been playing around with it, i was wondering how running could be used in combos, i frequently use it for mobility but just 5 seconds ago i noticed it could be used after forward 3 4 to max out the damage in A - List

Its needed for some characters in order to combo or extend combos where walking/dashing doesn't work.

Totally figured something out, you can run cancel f 3 into 1 or 2
Yeah thats the best thing with run cancel, jc can punish for a good range with F3[4]xxRC F24/113....
Lets say a Kung jin uses his ex bow or someting(the one that hits overhead), its unsafe for him, but it leaves him a bit far from the oponent, we can punish that with full combo using f3[4]xxRC!

I don't know of any combos starting with run. But I saw Dizzy do this combo and I have adopted it to my play also. It's mbNP 12xxRCxx12 f3NP.
I believe its 25%. Recomended for waking up.

I play A-List mostly and have definitely made some use of run in combos e.g. [113-EX-NUTPUNCH 12 RUN 12 F3-(EX)NUTPUNCH...] etc.
Running definitely seems like it will play a big part of any characters anti-air game; I often do 11 to anti-air then run in for the combo as there is usually a gap left to close.
 
The only time i use his running is really to get in and mix up with his 11 string. I made a thread displaying some match videos of me playing johnnys a-list and you can see how i utilize it there. He doesnt really need to run in between combos either in this variation.

he can use run to make f3 safe in A list mode and to combo off of it fully. also, in stunt double, johnny can use run canceling to get meterless 37% damage midscreen. Run canceling is a HUGE part of the game and not only to get in a do a mixup.

Well theres your stamia problem there lol you dont have to run doing the f34 cancel. simply dashing is safe enough.

You can run cancel f3 into 21 nut punch ex 12 run cancel 12 run cancel f3 nut punch , that's the best I've found .

No need to run cancel to combo those strings. you can cancel f3 into dash 12(1) dash F24 nut punch all without running

Well theres your stamia problem there lol you dont have to run doing the f34 cancel. simply dashing is safe enough.
Are you sure? What can you do off of F3(4) dash? I know off of F3(4)xxRC you can do pretty much anything and they can't poke you. Overhead, Low poke, grab, etc. etc.

You get essentially 2 mixups off of any F3 footsie touch which is amazing. Cage is really damned good, and I know I'm not playing him optimally yet.

Pretty sure if they block the f3 and you try to dash, you will get punished. The run cancel keeps you safe while trying to pressure.

both options are safe running and simply dashing because your left a +1 frok canceling the 4. but regardless there safe. only thing i was saying was the obvious reason why some people are running low on stamia is because of them running.
