Tech - Venomous Meaty Up+3 Crossup Thing. Yeah.

This is not exclusively in Venomous, but this little find is both weird and seemingly effective. After a hard knockdown, a correctly timed Up+3 will strip away most wakeups (still testing on all of the cast), or your opponent can block it, but she's still apparently only NEGATIVE ONE. Check it out and discuss:
This is awesome, will test also myself, great find! I'm also compiling a list of wake ups that go under this move after a knock down, will post.

Her u3 is a very useful tool. Very high lvl stuff. You can use this vs alot of wakeup attacks. Have any of you dvorah players used it for like counterpoking? Its pretty solid move

Guys a very important tip here, try to record the situation as the AI and do the wake up yourself.

When you set the AI to wake up it wakes up on the very first available frame, which humans very, very rarely do. So the timing changes a lot. We had a lot of this in Injustice and testing on AI wake up does not yield the same result as a human wake up.

This is sage advice.

Very cool find @BlankOctober . Regardless of the ability to reverse some wake ups, u+3 seems like a great way to bully people on knock down.

1) Its a 7% meaty normal that should blow up any non MB wake up, timed correctly

2) You can hold the stance and delay it for a really long time. This means you can sit in the stance and catch even the latest delayed wake ups.

3) You can cancel it (by pressing down) with what looks like 0 recovery frames. This opens up an interesting metagame of cancelling out of stance and into her f22 or another overhead once you've trained your opponent to crouch block on wake up.

Lord Nurgle is intrigued I shall look deeper into this as U3 is a very unique move

I tested some stuff out today with @Ecodus and learned a couple of interesting properties:

1. The hurtbox on this move is deceptively large. It hits at about jump in range.

2. It's immune to low normals. This makes it great in the poking meta, and it can be useful if someone is doing a series of run cancelled d4's or d3's to pursue you. Be aware that d1's are MIDS and you will get knocked out of your stance.

There's a ton of versatility with this move and I hope over time that it levels out the playing field slightly against characters with fast low starters who get inside of f2/d4 range and attempt to bulldog her.

My fingers hurt.
Just tested this on EX Kano Ball, which I consider to be the best reversal in the game.

It seems like a 1 frame timing, but it's definitely possible to tap the armor and still have the Kano Ball whiff. Will test other EX moves as I random them in training mode. Loving this option--especially the fact that if you manage to cross with it, your opponent stays in striking range, allowing for further pressure (assuming they don't get knocked down by it and roll).

Yeh I tested it against some wakeups last night and it shows that it can stuff every non-ex wakeup Liu Kang has and in some cases if timed right the an ex wake up will go through her and end on the opposite side of her.

Are you sure? Isn't there a reversal window? <_<;
