Just floating the idea out there. Unlikely Sonic would back down from a challenge. Is there a tournament we could set this up for? :)

are we ready to discredit players that did well in the tournament tho? not a good way to bridge the gap between online players and offline players like we all preach we should.

I just feel that a challenge thread based off of a first to one tournament is kind of an overreaction. Lets also not forget that online is so bad that it does not even resemble the same game.

No one is getting discredited because I personally don't put much stock in a first to 1, let alone in the environment that it was played in. Doesn't mean the players aren't good, it just means that a first to one during week one, online at that, is more about seeing what you can get away with in one game more-so than being solid.
