Kenjutsu is a rush down mix/up vortex character that does space control rather than zone. Balanced is pretty much full zoning with easy combos but beware getting pressured. Possessed has zoning and mix up opportunities, sorta like a in-between of the two but he also gets the highest combo dmg output getting pressured with this variant is also a really big fall back. .
I think this is really the best option.
Just tested it against Kung Jin and yes, Kenshi does steal projectile brutalities!

Just tested against Cassie Cage and it worked. You don't need to fulfill any of the weird brutality requirements either. I deflected a Single Shot from fullscreen at 100% health and she dead. I've been recording these on XBOX but don't know how to upload.It is a wonderful day to be a Kenshi main

What does that mean exactly?
Similar to the MK9 reflect glitch where he could reflect projectile X-Rays before they patched it, Kenshi can copy a character's brutality if it's a projectile and if the reflected move would kill them. The only restriction I've found is it has to be about jump distance and it is variation specific (Mournful Kitana will get killed with Jade's boomerangmajig), but doesn't have to follow the "hold this direction" rule. It's just for style.
