Thanks for this! You can still do the short/long delay getup from a hard knockdown? I couldn't do it or didn't notice a difference when I was testing it out.

Great info, Tom! Just by reading this alone, it seems like throws are going to be a big part of the game since they're still 10 frames and negate the unblock animation. It's cool that you can backdash on wakeup and that backdashing also negates unblocking.

Are there any 5 or 4 frame normals in the game? I'm wondering if Lao's spin (and now all other 6 frame specials) still have ultimate priority.

Edit: and is Sub-Zero's clone still 1 frame?

Wow, great read and glad I read it before getting in to the game. Stamina meter...

What about a brief description of exactly how stamina / super meter builds?
What? I'm guessing how all fighting games since thw begining of time build meter. Stamina regenerates over time.

I don't think, I just play.
 
If possible Tom, can you talk about whether there is any real significance or reason for the return of the stance change button? What about things like neutral jump moves, jump-ins (& differences in speed)?

Also, I take it you can also run in the opposite direction of the opponent, if he isn't facing you, correct?

Edit: I know you said you're still working on the guide but these are just some ideas to throw around. Thanks.

I could be entirely wrong, but I thought I saw Erron Black cancel a block string into command throw. If they're unblockable & untechable, how would one go about dealing with this situation?

I see the ff+bl to run mechanic get brought up on occasion, but I haven't seen anything from people that have actual hands on experience lamenting the lack of a run button. Is the input timing such that dashing into a block isn't a problem? I'm trying to reserve judgement for after playing the game, but I can totally see myself accidently running face first into a fireball while I try to beat a zoner. @Tom Brady

from my calculations Stamina comes back fully in about 3 to 4 secs usually... But yea walking in this game especially backwards is so important to get used to .. You shouldnt be just backdashing for space for no real reason. I mean you can but just know you get 2 back dashes before Stamina drains then you have to wait a little to re-load.
 
This is a great read did not know most of these stuff or maybe i didnt pay enough attention to them in Injustice lol
