I'll be honest: the first time I read the title of this thread I thought it was going to be an ego massage for guys to post shirtless pics or wtf :coffee: but reading the whole thing I can see how positive it is to incentive people to do some healthy shit. I'm personally skinnier than a starving african kid (136 lbs / 6' 1") but I don't have the patience to hit the gym. I was practicing bojutsu, maybe it is time to actually hit it hardcore now.

If I wasn't literally bleeding out my ear right now I'd be in the gym because of this thread and because I just found out i've hit the 190lb mark at 6'1" and I want to start working out before my weight actually starts showing.

Haven't been to the gym in about 9-10 months. Moving to a new country and starting my masters degree consumed my time completely as anyone can imagine.

I'm a naturally skinny guy, 6'2". Last year when I was exercising regularly I got my weight up to a personal best of 185 pounds with about 11% fat. I was feeling great. At that time I could bench about 200 or 210 pounds and it felt awesome, especially the first time I benched weights heavier than my own body. I don't know why, but breaking that barrier felt like an amazing accomplishment or a milestone.

Right now I think I've lost about 20 pounds since I stopped working out and I'm back to being skinny. I have the body type that needs regular exercising to have a good weight.

I'm starting my new semester tomorrow and I'm planning to go back to the gym. I have to almost start over everything again, but I'm itching to go back and I know it's going to feel great after a couple of months of regular exercising.

I am so for this. Count me in for the reals. About 2 and a half years ago I realized I was not where I wanted to be physically, got my shit together, lost 55 lbs, and reduced my waist by 5 inches (36'-31'). In the last year I've definitely been eating worse and exercising less, and I've felt my body get out of shape - not nearly like what it was, but there's room for healthy improvement. I pledge to work on my fitness and not be a stereotypical gamer, before, during, and after MKX. I'm doing regimens of sit-ups, pushups, and wallsits, and hiking season is just around the corner. Don't even need to spend a dime.

@Decay @anyone else who might know,

Is it possible to bulk up while not gaining fat? My main goal is to bulk up because I'm skinny but I absolutely hate seeing any belly fat. Is it possible to bulk up 20-30 pounds while keeping a low body fat ratio? Or is it better to bulk up then burn the fat after I reach my weight goal?

Is it possible? Yes. What do you have to do? You have to lift like a maniac (a structured maniac) while eating a shit ton of calories. Those calories need to be super nutient dense. That would also require you to do this consistently for 2 years before you got there.

God speed sir

I don't like taking pictures of myself but I guess I will for "the cause". Admittedly I don't go to the gym much anymore, mainly do bodyweight exercises and pull up/chin up bar exercises in the morning, run a mile in the afternoon.

P.S. If you use either "not having enough time" or "can't afford a gym membership" as an excuses to not workout, I have a lot of bodyweight exercises that don't require equipment and take less than 15 minutes a day :)

I have been working out since 4 years ago, and changed my life. Like @diamond said, you feel like a new person. I don't have pictures of myself here, and can't take one now, but I will asap. One day I want to be like @Decay .
@AK L0rdoftheFLY , congrats. This thread is awesome.
Thanks man. When there is a draught of a good fighting game to play, I get motivated to do stuff like this. I love this community and want to help everyone get SWOLE.

Anyways. Get it man!
