As far as his string that ends in throw. I thought Unbreakable and Grandmaster ended that string with normal throw while Cryomancer got a unique ender. No?
It's never his default throw. In cryo it's the dagger stab and its a restand. In all others it's a side switching hip toss

I'll never understand why I have to 'guess' in throw situations.

*sigh*

I just need to press throw, to tech a throw.
If you want to mix it up, at least have different variant of throw tells, like Tekken.

Whatevs.

Day 1 = look for OS throw techs.
I can count the number of throws that actually land in that game on one hand. my personal philosophy is if you get hit by a throw you should eat that throw. they are harder to set up, do less damage than most juggles, and put me at greater risk than just striking. all those negatives on top of 50% chance it just won't work is agrivating

Not a soul calibur player, are you?

Soul calibur uses the same 50/50 untellable throw teching system as MK9.

Virtua fighter also has the defender unable to tell the correct throw and is forced to guess too. Previously, the defender had a window to where you could input as many option selects in the throw escape window. But the newest version cut that out and now you have a 1/3 chance of guessing right and you get one guess.

It seems like the laws of fighting games are set up to where block button fighters handle their breaks differently and give the advantage to the attacker.

Ah. I must've focused on the Cryo throw and not paid attention. What about like Quan's string ending in throw. Is that also not his regular throw?

Maaaaaan, i'm really bummed that the throws came back as a 50/50. I was really hoping it would be like IGAU. Oh well :(

Yeah not a fan of the MK9-style teching and not sure why anyone would be tbh

The 17th verse of the Holy Fighting Game Law Scripture states, "Ye, and he who has a throw attempt committed unto himself shall press LP and LK together, and with the divine blessing of the lord Chris Gesus he shall be free from 50/50s and accepted back into the divine kingdom of neutral."

Correct, Quan, Raiden (the choke slam), Kano's belly to back suplex, Sonya's grenade string and a couple others I'm blanking on are all special combo string only throws, like Doomsday and Aquaman in Injustice or Kung Lao's in MK9. No word on if they're breakable, but they are definitely useable in juggles.

Sub's is the only one (I've seen) that actually changes from variation to variation tho. Quan only has his in Warlock, Sonya only has hers in Demolitions, Kano only has his in COmmando, and I think Raiden has his in all three. I'm sure more will be revealed in two weeks.

The real reason these guys were able to tech throws coming their way is because they probably mashed like mad once opponent was close :p
