What's The First Thing You're Going to Do In MKX?

I think the best thing to do first is to go through the story mode, discover the general feel of most characters and some of their specials, and just button-mash your way through. You will unlock a character and enjoy a dumb but undoubtedly awesome storyline. After that, it's time for hours upon hours of practice mode, i suggest that you try out all characters, starting out with the ones you prefer because of rp or playstyle reasons. Then online comes into play, and dear god do i hope it won't lag, or at least be as good as Injustice on Ps4...

First I am going to go through the menus and explore random things. Then Tutorial. I like doing those when a new game comes out, and in the past there were trophies and achievements for doing them. After that, its into the lab with Liu Kang and then a little story mode.

That has been my habit with MK games.

If my best friend is awake for the midnight release, blind online with him until he can't stay upright. Can only savor the scrub stupidity in a new game once.

But the more interesting story is from another friend. Oh, he's a big MK fan, buys them release day, plays the crap out of them, but he's far from the definition of a competitive player at anything. His first day plans? To go into fatality training and kill Cassie Cage with every single fatality in the game, unbroken until he is done.

Probably go for some offline 1v1 with my roommate just to check things out. Then I'll probably do story, and then go to the lab with different characters. Find who feels right.

Check out the menus and see what modes there are. Online and off. Story mode for a bit then play some online. Gonna try my best to find a Kharacter/Variation that will be playable with an Xbox controller, since it's all I got right now lol.
