General/Other - Jacqui Briggs Anyone find it weird that she is getting so much hate despite not being fully revealed yet?

Yes I am talking about Jacqui Briggs.

She seems to be getting way more hate then necessary and all we've saw from her was 10 words and a second of her X-ray which is practically nothing. We haven't seen her gameplay/variations, we don't known her bio, and we don't know what her overall personality is like yet she is getting so much hate? I don't think that's fair at all.

Is it because she is Jax daughter and you also hate Jax? Is it because she is a black female? Why is she getting so much early hate?

I feel like she shouldn't be getting so much hate at least before we've seen enough of her to pass a final judgement towards her.

I actually think she is pretty interesting and she has a unique fighting style. The idea of a kick boxer with different weapons attached to her arms in different variations seems pretty cool. Not to mention she is the first black female in MK (or 2nd if Tanya is black).

At least give the girl a chance until she is officially shown, at least then the hate towards her would probably make sense. It's pretty ignorant and idiotic to hate on a character you have yet to have seen enough of.

I, for one, can not wait for Jacqui gameplay. It is one of the few things I have been desperately anticipating since the story trailer reveal.

I'm hella hype for this girl. I'm making it my personal mission to co-main her and wreck all opposition. The only character I'll make an exception for if she isn't a zoner.

Really? It can't be because she is the same aesthetic as Cassie and Sonya and her design looks pretty derivative of the other militarized hardcore looking characters that are pretty prevalent in MKX? Nope, must be because she's blak amirite?! You're sounding like Tumblr right now.

She just looks boring with the cornrows, army get up, and gaunlet guns. Hopefully her play-style will negate these unimaginative features.

i have not seen any actual hate of her.. shes not hyped up atm because shes like the only character that we havent seen any footage of. DLC does not count because they are known entities from movies or past MK games.
trust me there will be all kinds of excitement when we see game play of her..

Jacqui will always be #2, there's a reason why Cassie's the leader. She's the one who merely holds the body while Cassie's the one who slices their chest open like a true soldier.

I can see this being the case. Batgiel had alot of hate at first and people thought she would be a Batman clone. But then they realized how wrong they were an found out sshe was an awesome unique fighter.
