Its a good thing, Another option to consider or I should say foresee coming of your opponent. On the other hand scrubs will perform a meter cancel much faster then in MK9 ha ha ;)

Hopefully breakers aren't block + forward in MKX then. If I'm blocking an attack and press forward and get a block breaker, that would suck.
It wasn't that big of an issue in the 3D MKs, so I doubt it'll be one here.

Smh I just realized this game is going to be injustice 2.0 with the block and run button being the only difference.. I hope I'm wrong

Block breaker should cost 1.5 bar of super and 2 of stamina, or cost 2 bar of super and 0 of stamina. But I'm glad they incorporate it to the game anyway.

On topic, another use for the block breaker is if you corner your opponent and they try and escape with armor or what have you, you can then block break and put them on the ground for oki purposes. I would spend 2 bars for that(ideally anyway).

Costing 2 bars is pretty steep in my opinion.

It should be like how breakers were in MK vs. DCU where you are allotted a set amount each match.

What do you all think about that idea?
Sounds great, 2 max per round at a cost of 1 bar each and we have a deal. ('-')b

This works against you more than against him.

The certainty with which people state anything about this game is mindboggling. Just over two weeks away and we only just learned about a core engine mechanic, but clearly everyone already knows everything.

The video clip is live action, and the things I noticed was the large gap when it occurs, it's like a delay, so you know the block is coming, also, it appears to be a hard knockdown, and Sub gets up rather quickly. I'm sure a jumping punch, or other mix up's may be applied, but from what we know now, I'm willing to bet it's more a universal GTFO me mechanic to prevent infinants and 70-90% damage combo's.

The same thing was true of MKvDC... but the reactions ended up being different per character and we got things like Green Lantern and 25% unbreakable damage off a breaker. I'm just worried is all.

Assuming that intertactables and block bleakers work exactly like they do in Injustice(which they don't, but i'll humor you). There are still a ton of differences that we know before release:

Block Button
Run mechanic
Variations
Stage Size
Stamina Bar
Meter Draining moves
More chip damage
EX grabs giving every character resets

So yeah, you are wrong. There is no way you can compare it to Injustice based on pre-release info.
