sonya's d4 anyone?

I was wonderig :how may frames does sonya actually need to get to that low profile after d4 input? I know d4s 12-13 on startup, but i know for sure she lowers her hitbox way before her d4 hits..thx again

It gets lower on the 8th frame, but the recovery whiff time will be longer.

that is why most of us used D3 to go under cross jumps with character who had an animation with a really low hurtbox, like Skarlet, Mileena, Rain etc.

Sonya's D4 is the only move that lowers her hurts box and it gets lowered on frame 8 and has a crazy long duration that it is actually lowered. You need to be carful though because while it lowers her hurtbox it also extends it horizantaly and anyone worth their salt will blow you up with crossover jk combos.
