Your UMK3 Accomplishments for 2014?

This was my 2nd full year playing UMK3, at least trying to play competitively. I've been at UMK3 again for 2 years, and I think I've come really far. 2014 was a good year for me, I learned some characters and did some good things.

I feel like I'm "Competitive" with not only Human Smoke (which before this year he's all I felt comfortable competing as), but also Kitana, Sindel, Ermac, Sonya, and Unmasked Sub Zero.

Studied theory of the game to better understand the tier lists and the technical portion of the game.

Brought a few EXCELLENT PSN players over to TYM.

Double Flawless-ed TWO top players (who will remain nameless), with non mains (Kit and U Sub) - hey, I'm not top level, but it's nice to compete and occasionally win, and a few times even win big.

And probably the biggest, at least jump up, primal roar, and fist pump after it happened accomplishment:
Pulling an Ermac 100% corner against none other than Mister I. Got. BASS.

Making Proper Adjustments
Learning Human smoke & just recently improving with Kabal. Since I started playing with Human Smoke, I drifted away from scorpion lol. I won some matches in 2014 against some tough opponents that I would've lost to a year or two years ago when I first bought the game :) #progression

You fail to see how because of my reputation and continued efforts over the years and my status as a player in UMK3, I was one of the few who got to test UMK3:TE? And anyone who went to any tournament that had UMK3:TE also got to beta test it.

At least I didn't put me beating someone online as an accomplishment. :rolleyes:

Well, this is the year in which I came back to MK (in a more serious way) after leaving it behind long time ago in my youth. Studied its mechanics, chars differences and all.
Learned to somewhat play with all the ninjas and my good old friend from MK3, Cyrax.
Even tho my current skill still leaves much to desire, I feel like I've done a lot of progress in such short time span. Something that makes me really happy, cause no matter how fast the progress goes, the important thing is that its still going up and never stopping.

Totally looking forward to next year with UMK3 TE as well with this awesome kommunity, which I've failed to notice earlier !

Being the lead consultant for refitting UMK3:TE. Since 2D has taken a step back we haven't done many UMK3 tournaments, last year was the first year I didn't win any UMK3 tournaments since 2005 but I did play in a grand finals set, and this year I can't even remember if there were any tournaments.

I'll also add the accomplishment of having the most watched live UMK3 set probably of all time vs LI Joe on Team Spooky Stream for ECT6.

I guess beating Shock, LiJoe, and DC Hustle in that tournament doesn't count? I guess they aren't "elites".

Which majors will you be attending in 2015 that will have old school MK ?
