but like @9.95 said offline is preferable and is much better.

Dubson, it's been awhile since we have played. I am not the same player or person I was the last time we played. I'm not going to get a PS3 because MKAK is horrible and not worth getting an entire console for. If PS3 had the 2006 version of UMK3, I would already have it. Other than a 360, we could always try MAME. It is free... after all.

Obviously offline is preferable, but not practical.

The point is Im not afraid to do it online, and why waste time.

Yes, I later recognized that after my post I apologize. Its hard to tell sarcasm over the internet, at times. I am not cocky and pride myself on striving not to be and you know that.

I'm humble outside of competitive things. But I actually thought about it. It's more fun and hype when there's cockiness and shit talk, as long as it stays within the game. I would much rather destroy someone who says they're great and will body me for free, than some quiet dude saying he's not that good and that he hardly plays.

If I lose it's not like I continue to say I'm better or start making excuses, that takes away from the experience and takes away from my competitors win, as I wouldn't want him to do if I won.

And yeah, no PM. I get a lot of notifications as a Mod and from threads I'm "watching" and other stuff, so it could have been lost within those, I'll have to double check.

The "never on equal footing, homie", was directed at me for asking about playing vanilla UMK3 as opposed to TE which i have not had the privilege of playing. It didn't sound sarcastic, but then again this is the internet, where one video floating around makes a guy an elite player

she has one but I was referring to it being different from Jade and Kitana's.

I believe ending the combo on the 3rd hit, being *not a side kick but a straight up kick closer to the opponent, is safer and superior to Mileena's version. Creates some nasty rushdown set-ups.

Basicaly I feel hers is the more inferior version and part of the reason I have her below the other 2.

Don't get me wrong, the guy is a fantastic player. GREAT player. But that was just absurd, LOL. I will bust the guy out of it has to be done, I'm sorry. He doesn't stand a chance of that with me, not a single chance. As well as more in this thread.

Im going to be completely honest, the first time I read that I thought he said both players would be randoming too. He said he would random and everyone else could not random. Wow, lmao, he isn't near that good. He did all this to himself with that ridiculous claim and taking a comparison from Jade and Mileena to Kung Lao and Mileena. Simply took my points about Jade and said the same things about Mileena. Mentioned he only has 3 moves when he has 4 and completely left out his teleport which is insane. Just wasn't what we were even comparing…. those 2 characters will never be compared.. unless it is a specific match-up comparison.

Go ahead and pick Mileena and Jade a few rounds while your at it so everyone can see your skill with them and match-up knowledge

NO ONE can do/play what I do/how I play with Mileena (period), either offline or online, so NO ONE can really measure her highest potential/tools. So those players should just REFRAIN of even making statements or judgements of WHAT a character can do.

Its like @ded said once: "Reptile is top 5... IF you can do his combos".

Reptile, Mileena, U. Sub and others fall into that category. Not being subjective is also hard for a player to elaborate on a tier list also.

That is fully punishable on block and offline by many characters, including Mileena. In fact, many characters CAN actually bypass through the full combo on block at that point, so, thats a disvantage for the 4 hit combo they have.

BTW everything I wrote about is based on OFFLINE competition, and to an extent: pad and stick. I DONT HAVE keyboard experience and I suck online (hence why I only tier whore online).

@ded you suck bro, but I love ya (no homo) and thats points for you. Also you play basket so that counts too XD Joking aside, Kitanas throw is a PLUS in every way, it even seems to have range as Kabal or R Smoke. Thats why i respect her so much.

I can argue any tier list with anyone, but I respect the one @Juggs posted the most because the characters on the slots are without an order or that they can fight each other on almost equal conditions.

Most of us better offline (i know i am). We dont all have good players readily available locally, especially the amount you have down there...

And i was referring to the mixup aspects of their 4 hit (and 3 hit) compared to mileenas.

I dont doubt you probably have the best mileena in the world, as i know you guys like her down there and have good mileena players. But i feel jade is a better character/has more favorable matchups than mileena.

Tell that to Chorizo_Du on XBL who has 1-bar and lands every combo and KL infinite. I honestly don't understand how these guys can play like that in those conditions.

Reminds me of one of my favorite moments in MK history-

Foozer1 was an elite MK2 player who didn't like me because I came onto the scene out of nowhere and could go even with him from the get-go.
So he posted online that his Jax would beat my Kitana 20-0.
I accepted his challenge, we recorded.
I beat him 18-2.
Made lots of people happy. And the results are still on youtube

Thats fine, noone is going to win that challenge on me. And I will do it for X amount of money, offline online whatever. Im Sure ded would too. I guess my blanket statement is out there just like yours was. I will pick Kabal the whole time, srs. Don't know if trolling or not, srs.

Kung Lao, Bro, every character falls into that category. When making a tier list, you have to basically assume its 2 robots (cpu) fighting each other, because it has to be frame exact every reaction optimal damage and set-ups. It's nice to have specialists for characters, for maybe reasonable or "realistic" consistency but that would just be theoretical as there would inevitably be human error but a true tier list would be with computers…. So you can't assume Reptile won't be doing his infinite and Kung Lao won't be doing his, or one or the other because one of them is harder than the other. It has to be fair for all characters in all situations.

Experience isn't based on offline, online, what state, what ever. Its from playing the game. And that can be done online to fight amongst the best players and isn't to say that training in the lab or any fighting doesn't occur offline. Information is information….

Jason also lives in the midwest and he primarily plays online as he doesn't have any local kompetition. Assuming he would be worse in person offline because his setting isn't exactly like yours (offline) wouldn't really be realistic or fair… The point is he is going to and willing to fight anyone offline or online in MK2 for money, based on his experience albeit online. Online has a lot of kompetition. It is also a convenient way to fight if you don't have access to local kompetition. Fighting others in the same country isn't That bad, its when you start crossing countries. You guys are all used to fighting each other so it would be nice if you guys could fly up here for a major as well like NEC or ECT, and if you guys will I will have to and ded will have to, and @umk_p1 and the russians will have to, and everyone will have to

Seriously though, Im considering canceling my Evo trip to go to NEC or ECT or something. I've been to Evo multiple times, never been to any of those NE tournaments. If anyone is going to Evo, let me know.
