Yep, you don't have to rush it or mash it out. Trust me, I used to do the same thing as you when i first started playing GL. let the trait come out, bam cancel into lift. It's when you see GL like lift his leg and start to put his knuckle towards what will be the lantern.

im just puting it together so i can look back when the game is older, and i'd be inclined to agree with you on that, but haven't seen more of Superman to say he isn't definitively #1
