    Taven...Taven had potential, but he seemed like such a pansy compared to DAEGON, especially after that WTF of an ending. Reiko on the other hand is gonna make people shit bricks of salt when he comes back. Same with Havik; I'm really, really hoping the Order V Chaos war is revived. I absolutely loved the MKDA/MKD storyline until it turned into Armageddon, so I really want it to get a PROPER ending, y'know?

    it's all right, I convinced Brother Box to pick up Cage in the hopes that I'll be inspired (or frustrated by his defeats) enough to do the same. There's no way I can go to ECT without knowing everyone to an extent, and I've been putting off learning Nut Punch Fu for too long.

    Whaaaaaaaaat? That's awesome :D. I loved that show. Mauler & Vlad were my two favorites, Complete Control was awesome, Revision Z's up there, so's Overkill. Who doesn't love a robot who's basically a giant swinging sword?

    yeah I met Derek, the builder of complete control. What an awesome design. I have a picture next to Nightmare and Minion! Also, a picture of myself under Son Of Whyachi while they were doing repairs. Someone let me borrow their staff pass and I got to walk through the entire backstage area where everyone does robot repairs between matches.

    Oh, he knows it :D. But that's reserved for our sessions; if he's online, I always tell him to go 900-900, that way at least he'll get a faster bang for his lagging buck if they respond.
    He plays Smoke, Nightwolf and Reptile. So far, he's got a lot of good fundamentals down; once he gets his BnB's down, I can teach him the matchups and he'll be naaasty.

    That's his next lesson: the value of pokes and the differences in frames; i.e. "Why aren't my moves coming out in time?" "Because his are faster and you only have 1 that can beat him." He knows about armor beating everything (lol), blocking high low high's ala Liu Kang, next lesson's probably gonna be zoning & how to get past it, which with Smoke should be pizza pie.
