Well the obvious answer is increase start up frames, make both versions of teleport punishable mid flight and increase recovery frames. Apparently the engine can't handle this and it will ruin all of his combos. I think Microsoft fucked up, NRS was forced to release him prematurely and now were paying the consequences.

Yoda wouldve been banned anyway if he wasnt console exclusive coz he also doesnt work within the game's engine and doesnt follow its rules at all. A character that you cant throw, or hit 90% of your movelist on completely bends the rules of the game and shouldnt be allowed in competitive play.
While Scorpion is obviously not as extreme as Yoda's case banning him is an option that can be considered to deal with this fiasco (although I'd prefer them trying to legit fix him..)

Yoshi is completely different in SC than he is in Tekken, theyre completely different characters (different moves, inputs, properties, costumes, personalities. tbh the only thing they share is the name and some of the back story) unlike the copy/paste job NRS did with Scorpion.

I wont be attending or competing in any tournaments while Scorpion is a legal character.

This game is effectively ruined as long as scorpion is an option, as to play scorpion is to not play this game the way it was intended.

Hopefully @REO has shown what an absolute joke Scorpion is, and I can't believe anyone can watch him fully exploited and still make excuses for his inclusion in tournament play. It effectively should be Scorpion vs Scorpion at the highest level, and that is something I don't want to be apart of.

I honestly don't care about any community back lash for saying this, as the game is ruined, but I spend allot of money and time to get to tournaments, more so than 95% of offline players, and it just won't be worth it,

I feel I can spend my time more effectively by not playing this game seriously, as no one else seems to want it to be taken seriously by Scorpions inclusion.

I made a post about this the day after I played some Scorpion scrub online, but I got told by some over zealous mod here that there were apparently 1,000 threads about it already. Well apparently 1,000 is not enough. Just think about it, you are holding back to block, Scoprion teleports, you are now walking into his punch.

No... the argument was this is not a DC game because Scorpion is in it. My counter point is that that claim is glib.

I guess he doesn't beat characters as badly as scorpion, but I also believe he doesn't lose a single matchup (this can change though, I need more kf experience). So its kind of like a kenshi kabal situation lol.

What does that get me? It puts me in the exact same situation as before (hellfire vs. teleport, can't defend against both at once) except now he can also jump in with j1/j3 and potentially cross me up. When all else fails, he can randomly jump around like a fool (see "high level" scorpion gameplay)

At the end of the day, you're forced to play his game. Matchup theory means nothing to Scorpion. His strategy against any of the cast is the same. He doesn't really need to know your options. He barely needs to know your special moves. He completely shuts down your ability to play the game.

Even as Aquaman (which some high level players say is advantageous), there's not much you can do. His water shield is a joke in comparison to Scorpion's teleport/hellfire.

I agree with m2dave. I've never thought this game was balanced, which is why I never really wanted to play it in the first place. Right now this game is reaching MK9's level of balance with some of its lopsided matchups (especially on certain stages).

That's not the point, it misses the point entirely.

Injustice is supposed to have a life span, and be a serious tournament game. At the highest level there will no point playing anything other than scorpion, and since the character doesn't fit the game the same as all other characters, then at that stage, we are not playing injustice anymore.

We have a brand new game, with a new fighting system and meta game, and it is now completely ignored before it even had a chance to develop.

We lived the last year or two of Kenshi, KL and Kabal, and now we are right back in the same shit again when we finally had a chance at a balanced game.

If you want the game to live, if you want it taken seriously, then open your eyes to the problem and don't make excuses for the character. That won't address or solve the problem.

People put up w KKK in mk9 for 2.5 years

Oh was he? I dropped out of the SC4 scene when they patched out Ivy's infinite (i fuckin hate patches, idk why I'm still playing this) so idk what happened with the game after that lol.

He's right though, his gameplan is the exact same regardless of the opponent, and he doesn't need to know the opponents options, because they're ALWAYS forced to play his game. You can't justify the way Scorpion is in this game.
